Online Adoption Application › Memphis is an adorable pocket sized husky. Hes around 7-8 years old (best guess). He has proven to do great with some dogs but can sometimes be alittle selective so a meet & greet between dogs if a potential adopter has other dogs already will be required at this time. Other than being a little picky about who he hangs with amongst the k9s, he's an extremely sweet dog. When hes with his people is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle. He is crate trained and knows some basic commands. Memphis is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on his shots and monthly preventatives. He may be a seasoned adult but he still has alot of love to give and has proven he may be an older gent but he can still learn new tricks ;) A little TLC and with someone whos willing to continue to work with him and we are confident he will continue to flourish into an amazing companion for a lucky family !! I am seeking a responsible, active home for a young Husky mix, approximately 1 year old. She came to me a few months ago after being abandoned. She was thin and hungry when she arrived, and I have since had her spayed and vaccinated (including rabies). She is now healthy and doing well. She is a sweet, intelligent, and energetic young dog. She is clean in her living space Settles well overnight Is not destructive Enjoys walks, tug, and food search games. Bonds well with her person As expected for her breed and age, she has high energy and strong prey drive. She will need secure fencing and an owner committed to exercise and continued training. She is strong on leash and would benefit from someone comfortable handling an athletic dog. I am 69 years old and did not plan to keep a young, high-energy working breed long-term. Meet your "beginner's guide to owning a husky." Blair is a lil over year old male alaskan husky. He doesn't have much of a voice unless you are first walking through the door or it's time to eat. But you can certainly get him talkin! He'll try to get his way, creeping up on to the bed/couch in slow motion, waiting to see if you'll push him off (he makes a lovely door when watching tv🙄). Having heterochromatic eyes makes him think he can get away with anything (mostly snuggles), but sometimes he'll have the opposite effect, looking like a skinwalker at night; giving a wild grin👀.
