My name is Makoto and I am a good boy. I enjoy a good squeaker toy and treats could be a great pass time as well. I am 66 lbs and I am believed to be an Akita mix. I tested good with respectful dogs and I do not seem to mind having a cat around. I might chase them but with training I can do anything. I do not enjoy vet visits but what pet really does? I am a pretty calm dog, I do not tend to jump on people and I do pretty well on a leash. I have done well with people and would be a good fit with respectful kids. Am I the right dog for you? We learned pretty quickly that he prefers to be the only pet in the home, and he’s a bit too energetic for kiddos under 12. After waiting 184 days, he finally found his perfect person… but tragically, his owner passed away. Denver tried living with the family, but with another dog in the home, it just wasn’t the right fit.But here’s the part we really want you to know:Denver is one of the goofiest, sweetest, and most well-behaved dogs you’ll ever meet. He walks great on a leash, knows how to sit, and absolutely lights up when he sees snow. He’s smart, loyal, and happiest when he’s outside exploring or playing. He’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh every single day with his silly personality.Denver doesn’t need much — just a home where he can be the center of attention, soak up love, and enjoy life with his person by his side. Meet Royal 👑🐾Royal is an 8-year-old male Husky with a whole lot to say—literally. His neighbor happens to be another Husky, and the two of them have full conversations on a daily basis. We’re convinced they’re solving the world’s problems together. 🎶🐺Royal loves to give hugs and is truly one of the most handsome boys you’ll ever meet. He’s had his fair share of ups and downs in life, but he’s come out the other side ready for his next chapter. All Royal wants now is to move up in life: upgrade from kennel life to a comfy bed or couch, cuddle up with his people, host some karaoke nights, enjoy good food, and soak up all the love he’s been waiting for. 💙He very much enjoys car rides and likes to watch the world go by, taking everything in.
