Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! For instance, I am a busy boy, I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Blue the husky is obviously a looker! He’s probably a year old and 50# of hair, and LOVE!! He is crate trained, knows how to sit and recently learned to give hugs- must LOVE HUSKY HUGS!! He’s very dog friendly, likes cats a little too much and will chase or sometimes play too rough but he isn’t trying to hurt them, but for everyone' s sake he will go to a no kitty home. Blue had been roaming the neighborhood for months then eventually made a best friend named Benji= the ADORABLE terrier ;) After months of them visiting all the homes who poured cat food and water he started to let me pet him and that was because he would watch me with my foster at the time while we’d be out on walks. He had a rough time before being in the neighborhood, apparently in his first "home" he was yelled at all the time and so he is sensitive to new people as well as brooms and belts :( He’s still an affectionate dog the more I get to know him but of course he will require lots of patience as he begins to build his trust back with humans.Right now his favorite thing to do is play and be a part of pack. He enjoys all of the other dogs in the house. he even smiles at me from time to time. He’s also been known to let out a some decent howls when I’m arriving home from work, so if you love the WHOOWHOOWHOO of a husky boy, he is the ONE!! He needs a quieter home, no young children but older are fine. He needs patience and support as he builds up his confidence and trust. He has it in him!! So, does being a nice family count for anything anymore?? 🤔 We are such a sweet group, however the old story applies...we were born in a place that didn't spay our mama and then once we were born, they couldn't afford us, either... So the rescue stepped up to help us and here we are! Fully vetted, no baby making for us ;) just fun fun FUN!! And we were born for fun! We are smart. Playful, super cute and just the right size for adventures! We will be waiting for you to find us!!
