Story
Nova is a female Husky and Pitbull mixed doggy who is about 6 years old. She was returned due to no fault on her part.Per her previous owner:Nova does very well in the house but she does seem to get a bit aggressive if another dog tries to eat from the same bowl as her some times. She does great with other dogs besides that and loves playing and running around the yard. She’s a very sweet and calm dog. Sorry that we could not keep her she is a wonderful dog.She is described as a 'Goofball'. I’m a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. I’m a dog on a mission to please you. (Socially motivated). It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction. All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young).Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies.Cats will be vaccinated against feline distemper and feline parvo, and have been wormed. Story
Buck is a German Shepherd and Husky mixed doggy who is about 3 years old.Poor guy was surrendered after his family lost their home.Despite the big changes in his life, Buck’s sweet nature is beginning to shine through. When Buck first arrived, he was very scared and shut down, taking time to adjust to his new surroundings. Recently, he’s started coming out of his shell and showing his true personality — a gentle, free-spirited boy who just wants love and stability.According to his previous owner, Buck does well with cats, dogs, and kids, making him a wonderful candidate for many types of homes. He has a calm, kind demeanor and is learning that people can still be trusted. Buck would thrive with a patient family willing to give him time to continue building confidence. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality really starts to bloom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft heart and adventurous spirit, Buck may be the perfect match for you. He is described as a 'Free Spirit'. Intelligent, independent, confident and clever, I prefer making my own decisions but will listen to you if you make a good case. We’re partners in this adventure. Treat me like one and we’ll both live happily ever after.
