Story
Buck is a German Shepherd and Husky mixed doggy who is about 3 years old.Poor guy was surrendered after his family lost their home.Despite the big changes in his life, Buck’s sweet nature is beginning to shine through. When Buck first arrived, he was very scared and shut down, taking time to adjust to his new surroundings. Recently, he’s started coming out of his shell and showing his true personality — a gentle, free-spirited boy who just wants love and stability.According to his previous owner, Buck does well with cats, dogs, and kids, making him a wonderful candidate for many types of homes. He has a calm, kind demeanor and is learning that people can still be trusted. Buck would thrive with a patient family willing to give him time to continue building confidence. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality really starts to bloom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft heart and adventurous spirit, Buck may be the perfect match for you. He is described as a 'Free Spirit'. Intelligent, independent, confident and clever, I prefer making my own decisions but will listen to you if you make a good case. We’re partners in this adventure. Treat me like one and we’ll both live happily ever after. (Internally motivated). It is recommended that whenever you add a new animal to your household, it is done with a slow and monitored introduction.Adoption fees:Cats - $105 for one or only $150 for two!Dogs - $155For more information on this animal contact washingtonpawsandmore1978@gmail.comor call 319-653-6713All our animals have been spayed/neutered (or will be arranged if currently too young).Dogs will be tested for heart worms, vaccinated against distemper/parvo and rabies. We recommend crate training until you’re confident that your dog is used to his/her new home.
