Like her sister Peanut Butter, she came to rescue after her family bred their dog and couldn’t place all the puppies. As she grew older and less “saleable,” she was surrendered—but now she’s sparkling clean and showing off her gorgeous looks. Nutella is still adjusting to all the changes in her young life, so she can be a little cautious at first. What she needs most is a confident, patient home that understands the Akita breed and can guide her with training, structure, and love. She’s not just a fluffy puppy—Nutella is already showing the strength, intelligence, and presence that make Akitas so special. In the right home, she’ll grow into a loyal, majestic companion who’s as unforgettable as her name. If you’ve got Akita experience and a heart big enough for this sweet girl, Nutella is ready to be your forever treat. Due to MA Dept of Agriculture restrictions, we can not adopt to MA residents.

As she grew older and less “saleable,” she was surrendered—but now, she's freshly bathed and shining and ready to start looking for her new family. Peanut Butter is still adjusting to all the changes in her young life, so she can be a little unsure at first. What she needs most is a patient, confident home that will help her be all she can be with training, structure, and love. Because Akitas are a unique and powerful breed, we’re looking for adopters with prior Akita experience who understand their needs and quirks. She’s not just a fluffy puppy—Peanut Butter is already showing the strength, intelligence, and presence that make Akitas so special. In the right home, she’ll grow into an incredible companion, full of loyalty and heart. Tyler is a classic husky through and through—full of energy, curiosity, and a love for the great outdoors. This handsome boy thrives on adventure and would make an excellent partner for hikes, long walks, and all-season exploring. He’s social and may enjoy living with another dog, though a meet-and-greet is important to be sure it’s the right fit.Tyler is still working on keeping all four paws on the floor and may jump up on children, so he’d do best in a home with older kids or adults who can help him continue learning good manners. *Tyler is looking for a home without cats*If you’re looking for a spirited companion who embodies everything wonderful (and silly!) about huskies—and you love spending time outside—Tyler might be your perfect match.Please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm if you are interested in adopting Tyler. We may have other appointment times available, please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see what other times are available.
