Story
Suzie is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will require a calm, quiet environment while she recovers. She must be the only dog in the home, as she does not do well with other dogs. Due to activity restrictions during treatment, she will need limited exercise and careful supervision. Suzie may also attempt to escape from small or low fencing, so a secure tall fence is required if she will be outside off leash. Otherwise, she should only be taken outside on a leash for potty breaks and short walks during her recovery period.

PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Posey! Millie is approximately 5 months old, 20 lbs currently, and she may have some husky in her mix! She was found as a stray and taken in by a Good Samaritan. In her foster home, she is still new to all of her important life skills so she will need a family who is ready to commit to continuing her positive reinforcement training. Puppy classes will be a must! She could join households with other playful dogs, kids 5+ and possibly dog-savvy cats (may chase). Her foster says, `Posey is one of the sweetest most loving girls. She loves people, kids and attention. She will make a wonderful loving member to any family. She is so smart and silly, not to mention absolutely beautiful. She is ready to findher own family and so much love to give. Someone is going to be very blessed to add her to their home.`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on September 11, or possibly earlier. Story
We are writing because we urgently need help finding a safe, loving home for our dog. My husband and I are being forced to move to housing that does not allow pets under any circumstances. Despite our efforts, we have been unable to find another affordable place that accepts dogs. We have also reached out to family and friends, but unfortunately no one is able to take her. She is a Husky Bully (a Siberian Husky/Pocket American Bully mix). She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of energy. She loves meeting new people and has never shown any aggression toward people, although she sometimes jumps when excited because she does not realize how big she is. She has not always done well with other dogs and is not spayed; however, she has never bitten a person or another dog. This decision is absolutely heartbreaking for us because we love her very much. We know she deserves a family with the time, space, and resources to provide her the life she deserves.

Story
Meet Millie! Millie was found living on the streets, covered in fleas and suffering from a cough. Thankfully, she was rescued and has made a wonderful recovery. Now she's a happy, healthy, and playful puppy who is ready to find her forever home! Millie is a fun-loving girl who adores other dogs and loves having canine friends to play with. She is crate trained and does great in her kennel, with no accidents. When fully grown, she is expected to weigh around 40 pounds. Millie would thrive in an active family that can give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and love. She would especially enjoy having another playful dog in the home to help keep her entertained and burn off her puppy energy. If you're looking for a sweet, social, and affectionate companion, Millie may be the perfect addition to your family! ##2761935##

Story
Meet Bluey! This little catch is a two year old male neutered Husky/Shepard mix. He's up to date on his rabies vaccine and just under 50lbs. After his family was displaced long term from a house fire he is in need of a new loving home. Bluey is a fun and incredibly sweet. He just wants to be around his people. His signature move is to plop to the ground and roll on his back for belly scritchies. Car rides and hikes/long walks are his favorite. He loves to run and be with his people. After some exercise he is happy cuddling up with his human or lounging on the couch.Bluey has been great with my crazy toddler. He's gentle and patient. Bluey will do best in a home that can give him the exercise he needs. He is a med-high energy dog that will thrive with exercise and structure. He is house-trained and walks well on leash. We are working on commands. Due to his breed, he shows prey drive, stubbornness, and some mouthy behaviors. If you or anyone you know would like to know more reach out.

He enjoys eating chicken, beef, eggs, watermelon, and apples along with his doggie food. He loves treats and will sit, paw, walk, and bark on command for some. Vision can be stubborn and want things his way. After some back and forth, he may listen or completely ignore you. He’s a night owl and loves sleeping during the day. He’s not a fan of showers and grooming and hates having his nails cut. He’s gets anxiety in new environments and will pee every chance he gets.
