Story
I adopted Kumi when she was a puppy, and she is now almost 7 years old. She is a loving, energetic girl who enjoys long walks, outdoor adventures, and spending quality time with her people. As much as she loves being active, she also loves to cuddle and relax with her family.Kumi is great with children, although she tends to do better with older kids than with younger ones. She has a high prey drive, so she is not a good fit for a home with cats.Unfortunately, due to medical reasons, I can no longer provide Kumi with the active lifestyle she deserves. Even simple things, like taking her for walks, have become difficult for me. This is a very hard decision because I love her and want what is best for her.I am hoping to find Kumi a loving home where she can continue to enjoy long walks, receive plenty of affection, and be part of a family that can give her the time, attention, and care she deserves. She is just as happy going on an adventure as she is snuggling up beside you! ❤️

Meet Suzie!Suzie is a sweet, and cuddly girl who is looking for her forever home. Suzie is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and will require a calm, quiet environment while she recovers. She is a foster to adopt, and her heartworm treatment will be taken care of at our Second Chance vet hospital. She must be the only dog in the home, as she does not do well with other dogs. Due to activity restrictions during treatment, she will need limited exercise and careful supervision. Suzie may also attempt to escape from small or low fencing, so a secure tall fence is required if she will be outside off leash. Otherwise, she should only be taken outside on a leash for potty breaks and short walks during her recovery period. Can you be Suzie`s forever home? Come meet Suzie at Second Chance!

Odin is super friendly with humans and female dogs but is starting to show signs of aggression towards male dogs. I recently had to move to a one bedroom apartment and can no longer care for him the way he deserves as I have a 2 year old and now another on the way and am by myself. He’s great with older kids but doesn’t really have any awareness about being gentle with my 2 year old as he knocks him over constantly just trying to show love.
