Story
Little Miss Papaya is looking for the right fit! This curious, a bit shy, and at times skeptical 1 year old husky is looking for a home that has prior experience with dogs, and can understand dog body language. If there are kids in her new home, it would be best if they are older. She may do well with other playful dogs that are her size or bigger. Papaya's confidence has been growing and she is enjoying meeting new people! If you have knowledge of huskies, and the things that make them happy PLUS the patience to help a shy dog have the space to get to know you, Papaya might a great fit for your home. If you are interested in meeting Papaya, please visit our website worcesterarl.org and click on Papaya's photo to fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry below her picture. That is the first step. All adoptions and meets are by appointment, thank you!

Story
Meet Timber! Timber is about 2 years old, 80 lbs, high energy, and he is a Husky! In his foster home, he is working hard on with his house-training, crate- training and leash-walking. He could go to a home with kids 10+, and other dogs. He will need a cat-free home, as well as one with a fenced-in yard.He was heartworm positive but has completed treatment and is now ready for adoption! His foster says, "This gentle giant is really a show stopper! Be prepared for strangers to stop you on the street to comment on his impressive good looks! He has had a pretty rough start to life, but despite it all is still a loving, playful, gentle companion for the right family. His main motivation is food. He has been to a highly ranked dog trainer for evaluation and some basic skills training and learned extremely quickly. He loves to play fetch and tug. Car rides and long walks are some of his favorite things. He has been great with every dog he has been around with the proper introductions of course. I am not kidding when I say this is a very special dog. His potential is unlimited!"He is available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Puppies may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a puppy BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Bowie is a special boy is looking for his special home. Please read Bowie's entire profile before inquiring or applying for him. Bowie, born around January 2022, is approximately 60 lbs of mischief and joy. He is 50% Husky, 40% Poodle, 10% lab and 100% total energy! He is best thought of as a goofy and playful puppy. They call him 'the missile' at the park as he rockets into the park with excitement. Bowie and his sister Margo originally came from the south to a local shelter. The shelter determined that both dogs would thrive better in a foster home and they came to All Dog Rescue. While they are bonded and we would love to see them adopted together, they can be adopted separately as long as there is a confident resident dog who can help them become the best they can be. Bowie thrives being with other dogs and is his playful, goofy self in canine company. He has not done well as the only dog in a household but will consider an 'only-dog' home on a case-by-case basis. He loves to wrestle in the yard, play chase with the other dogs, and play keep-away with his favorite stuffed toys. A perfect day for him involves playing in the dog park, going on walks, and playing in the back yard. Bowie gets very excited when he sees his leash because he enjoys his walks so much He can get a little too excited when he sees other dogs or critters but his special harness helps with that. Bowie also settles down and curls up on the sofa with his foster mom. He is house-trained, does very well in the car, and looks forward to every meal. Bowie's ideal home is an adult-only, dog savvy, home with a confident, playful dog of similar size and activity level. He can be too much for senior dogs. While a fenced-in backyard would be the best for him as he has a ton of energy to burn, he may do well if he can go to a dog park daily. He has a high prey drive so he cannot be offleash unless fenced in. We are working on him being left alone in the company of other dogs. He will need someone who is often home or willing to take him to doggie daycare until he can be left alone for a longer time period. Note that while is mixed with a poodle, we do not consider him hypoallergenic. Many people with dog allergies have experienced allergic reactions in his presence. Bowie is microchipped, neutered, on flea/tick/heartworm preventive, and up to date on his shots. *Ask us about adopting Bowie and his sister Margo. Bowie is being fostered in Newry, ME and Cambridge, MA. His adoption fee is $450. If you think that your lifestyle is a good match for Bowie, please apply for him at http://alldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/adoption-application/ Bowie's foster mom will be in touch within 48 hours.

Story
Margo is a special girl is looking for her special home. Please read Margo's entire profile before inquiring or applying for her. Margo, is a spayed female, born around January 2022, and weighs approximately 55 -lbs. She is 50% Husky, 40% Poodle, and 10% Lab. Margo and her brother, Bowie, originally came from the south to a local shelter. The shelter determined that both dogs would thrive better in a foster home and they came to All Dog Rescue. While they are bonded and we would love to see them adopted together, they can be adopted separately. We prefer her new home has a confident resident dog who can help them become the best they can be, but will consider an 'only dog' home on a case-by-case basis. Margo adores being outdoors and is happy in the snow and hiking trails and walking through towns when she is in Maine. She also likes her walks when she is in Cambridge and in both locations hanging out in a fenced in yard. She has a ton of energy to burn and would love an active home. She does well in the car and is a fan-favorite at the dog park. Margo continues to progress with her social skills but still can be skittish. She can be leery of new people in her home. She may run away from new people or anxiously bark at them but shows no sign of aggression. She looks to other dogs in her home for guidance in these situations and will calm down if the other dog has appropriate behavior. She also gets anxious when her human is away. Margo is a work in progress and needs someone who is dedicated helping her continue to grow and thrive. The ideal situation for is an adult-only home with a confident, active, playful dog of a similar size and energy level that can help Margo continue to make strides. Her dog-savvy owner will need to continue with her positive training and be willing to work with a trainer. She will need someone who is home often or will bring her to doggie daycare until she gets more confident being on her own. This may be a lot to ask but seeing Margo happily play and grow more confident is more than worth it. Margo is microchipped, spayed, on flea/tick/heartworm preventive, and up to date on her shots. *Ask us about adopting Margo and her brother Bowie. Margo is being fostered in Newry, ME and Cambridge, MA. Her adoption fee is $450. If you think that your lifestyle is a good match for Margo, please apply for her at http://alldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/adoption-application/ Margo's foster mom will be in touch within 48 hours.

Story
Gray is 5 years old. He was adopted 2 years ago from a shelter. He was found on the street after escaping his previous home multiple times. Gray is sweet and rambunctious and loves to run, play and roughhouse with dogs his own size. He is very treat motivated and learns quite well. He has passed basic obedience classes with flying colors and is always ready to learn more. He doesn't always realize how big he is and can be rough with smaller dogs. With my busy work schedule, I can't keep up with the active lifestyle he needs to thrive. He needs an active, experienced handler with time for long walks and lots of training. Ask for medical history.
