Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Finley was a foster we had as a young puppy, and we fell in love with him. A co worker of my wife’s saw him and decided to adopt him. For her own reasons she decided she couldn’t handle a dog anymore and we took him back in so he didn’t have to go back to the shelter. He is crate trained, potty trained, loves to play with other dogs, and very loving and friendly. He has shown some resource guarding tendencies and we have been making him sit and wait for his food as well as only feeding him in his crate, but has been doing much better the last week since we started. Our main concern is that he goes to a loving home that will cherish him. We would love to keep him but we already have 2 dogs and we foster frequently and we told ourselves that we couldn’t take in any fosters until we are done fostering for good.We will Include his crate and whatever food he has left at time of adoption (purina pro plan puppy), and heartworm/flea preventative meds. We bought 6 mos worth.
