Akita-Husky mixed breed (Male)- Looking or a Loving Forever Family! We unfortunately need to rehome our sweet boy due to busy schedules & health issues. This is a very difficult decision, and our 1st priority is finding Kai a Loving, active home, where he will be cared for and loved as family. He is 15 mths old. He is a majestic looking Huskita (Akita-Husky mixed breed w/a wonderful personality! He has so much love to give and is very friendly, affectionate, & playful. Kai likes to foll you around & will lay down at your feet when you relax. 🐕 - Great with Kids - Good with other dogs & cats - Up to Date on all shots (will include his medical records) - Neutered - Obeys basic commands: Sit, Stay, Heel, xxxx@xxxx.x ... - Kai comes with his large crate (just sleeps in it at night) - Includes quality walking harness & leash We will help you make his transition as smooth as possible. Kai is currently with us in STL and formerly resided in KC, MO. City, Missouri. 💓

Dakota is a handsome name, kind of a "rugged" kind of name, right?? I am kind of a REFINED RUGGED kind of boy! NOT!! I am a snuggle bug looking for tummy scratches....I willl MELT for one!! Here is what one of our amazing fosters have to say about Dakota...."Super freaking sweet, loves loves belly rubs, is very strong when you walk him but listens well. VERY treat motivated and knows sit down paw and i just taught him roll over yesterday but its a work in progress 😝. Super playful, he will pounce around you and then roll over for belly rubs and absolutely melts for the belly rubs and kisses" I love playing and running with my doggy friends, however, I can lay at your feet very sweetly to beg for your attention. I am kind of like a "reverse" planter as well. I mean, you plant it and i will un-plant it for you :D I won't do it often, just when I want your attention and I am outside alone. So see?? you have great control over that urge! So I am a food and toy lover too, I eat out of a slow feeder bowl because wolfing down my food is not an option! I am learning all things toys and am actually learning how to bring the ball BACK after you throw it. I am a smart and very sweet boy. I do absolutely have a prey drive so no kitties for small furry mammals around me please. I am fully potty trained and great in a crate. Now i just need you to adopt me to complete my circle of life. Now, before you go all "Lion King" on me, just know that I will be your bestest buddy forever!! I am two VERY loyal breeds and once I know you are my family, you will have my unending love :) Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Kai is 1.5 years old & weighs 61 lbs. He is very lovable & loyal to his family. I would recommend children 6 yrs & up for families as he is a big boy & could accidentally knock over a toddler in his excited mode. A fenced yard would be ideal or energetic couple who can walk him a lot so he can get exercised enough. I'm a senior & don't feel confident walking him. He does walk on a leash well with my bf though & follows basic commands: sit stay heel - (you could probably use a tethered line if no fenced yard) he sleeps in his crate at night & is friendly with dogs & people - will follow you around & lay nearby when you relax. Only barks if someone comes to the door - so good guard dog 😀Contact me to meet him & you'll fall in love with this majestic Huskita!

Story
Murphy is the sweetest most bubbly dog. She loves life and she loves people. We adopted Murphy from the Humane Society of Missouri 2 years ago as a puppy. She is now 2 and a half. She is trained and listens well but could use more work on the leash. She would do well in a home with no other animals but may warm up to other dogs. She currently lives with cats but they do scare her a little bit. Being an Akita she would do best with an experienced owner that knows the breed or someone who has done their research on the breed. She is not like most Akitas, she loves strangers and is always ready to meet new people. She needs lots of toys and will need to be crated when home alone. She needs an active family that is willing to put a lot of time into her and continuing her training. She loves to learn new tricks!

Lola is around 4 years old. We adopted her from a local shelter. She is very smart and loves all the cuddles. She needs a back yard that she run in and get her energy out. She loves to play ball and absolutely loves the snow. Unfortunately we have recently had a change in our living situation and apartment life isn’t for my girl. She loves to sniff and smell everything. She walks well on her leash. She is kennel trained and doesn’t mind being in it. I just want her to go to a good home that she can run free and be loved on!
