Story
This animal is NOT available through Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. This is a courtesy listing only, so you will need to contact the current owner for more information or to adopt. PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER: call or text: (423) 213-1583 Kheeli is a 6 yr old ball of energy. She loves running and playing with toys in a fenced yard away from any other dogs or small animals. She has not shared a home with kids due to their unpredictable nature, as she likes routine and a structured household. She has shared separate spaces blocked off from a cat in the home. She likes to be the only animal in the home and once acclimated enjoys head scratches in a calm environment. Kheeli has had poorly managed interactions as a puppy with other dogs that has resulted in her not being so trusting as first. She remains happy in a controlled home with a responsible human. She is crate trained and knows where to go for breakfast and dinnertime. She is on a current medication regimen for anxiety and nerves, and special gastrointestinal food to avoid upset. All health concerns are under control. And takes monthly heart worm interceptor, had a case of heart worms caught early when she was 2 and has been healthy since. She loves tough chewer toys but will sleep with a soft toy of her choosing. She can be mischievous like most dogs and sniff and get into things as she can reach counters and get into things if left out and unattended so best to keep a tidy space and allow for free safe wondering of the home. She wears a muzzle on walks to help deter eating things off the ground, and help her feel safe when walking around other dogs. Avoiding direct contact with other dogs and kids is ideal to keep her happy and safe. Has been microchipped and the information for the microchip number is available.

Story
If you're looking for a confident dog that likes his walks, Bear is the one for you! Bear is house-trained, and is crate trained too! Bear would do best in a home without small dogs or cats. However, for larger dogs, we could arrange a meet and greet. Bear does best with dogs who respect his space, and let him do his own thing. He was adopted by his previous owners as an adult, infested with heartworms and parasites. His new owners did an amazing job of getting him healthy and teaching him the manners he has now. Sadly, his owner passed away and we made it our mission to honor her wishes and find Bear an amazing new home.

Story
We took Duke in from our friends brother. Duke spent 23 out of 24 hours a day in a crate because the owner wasn’t allowed to have him in the house. He was terribly infested with fleas, so I couldn’t let him stay there. Unfortunately I just didn’t know what all was involved in taking care of a husky. He is a great dog. He loves people and other dogs! Our home is very small and he is rather large. He lives outside but we feel like he deserves a better home with more attention for him. He also needs a groomer to handle his coat that is not in the best shape. We can’t afford that and he strongly dislikes any touching on his backside. Other than that he’s not a hard dog. He’s stubborn by nature as that comes with the breed, but he would make any one that has the time for him so happy!
