Story
We took Duke in from our friends brother. Duke spent 23 out of 24 hours a day in a crate because the owner wasn’t allowed to have him in the house. He was terribly infested with fleas, so I couldn’t let him stay there. Unfortunately I just didn’t know what all was involved in taking care of a husky. He is a great dog. He loves people and other dogs! Our home is very small and he is rather large. He lives outside but we feel like he deserves a better home with more attention for him. He also needs a groomer to handle his coat that is not in the best shape. We can’t afford that and he strongly dislikes any touching on his backside. Other than that he’s not a hard dog. He’s stubborn by nature as that comes with the breed, but he would make any one that has the time for him so happy!

Story
Adoption fee is negotiable. My fiancée’s dad recently surrendered his 2 year old husky malamute mix Stella to us due to him neglecting to take care of her. We don’t have enough space to keep her long term with our small house and 2 huskies already. I’m also disabled and dont have the physical capacity to give her the exercise she needs. She’s 2 years old, up to date on vaccinations, leash trained for the most part (still kind of pulls ) spayed and so so sweet. She is house trained, though she still does the excited little pee thing due to anxiety but if you take her out enough she should be okay. Very submissive and friendly with other dogs, ld really prefer for her to go to a home with someone who has huskies preferably since they require much different care than your average dog. I love her so much and would love to see her in a good home after being neglected

Story
Bella came to us after being kept in a crate that was too small for her. It took her awhile to learn how to walk correctly, play, and do all the things puppies do. Now she runs around with the other dogs like a pro. She does good with dogs and kids. She is very curious about cats but has not been in a situation where we can tell how good she is alone with them. Bella has not been socialized with children under 13 years old. At adoption events she seems afraid of small children and has even growled, so she would probably be best in a home without small children. She is such a loving dog! She is potty trained and loves toys. She is very energetic and would love someone that wants to play. She walks on a leash and has learned the basic commands. This sweet girl is very observant and curious, she doesn't miss a thing. **Adoption fee of $175 includes spay/neuter, vet visits, deworming, and shots. ** Adoption Application: mercyrescue.org

Story
My husband wanted a dog again as our 2 previous dogs had passed. So he found this beautiful dog on Nextdoor and we adopted him. My husband passed in August and so I made the decision to rehome him. He is a lovely dog but at 68 pounds and I am unable to handle him. He still has alot of puppy in him at 2 1/2 years old. I want a loving home preferably with a large fenced yard so he can go out and burn off his energy. I hope you will love him as much as I do.
