We have owned him since he was a puppy. We're so regretful to find him a new home . He must go to anyone that will love him . He needs to be able to run outside like on a farm . He has anxiety issues he hates to be alone . And will chew whatever if he is alone. But if your with him all the time he's the best. He is closterfibic and can't be opened up. Any other concerns pls ask.

*NOT GOOD WITH MALE DOGS* Duke is 2.5 years old and still plays like a puppy. He is sweet and cuddly and loves to be on top of you. We have had him for close to two years and have tried tirelessly to help him and his brother we got before him to get along, but have come to realize that they would be better off living separately. Duke had a difficult start to life and came to us skiddish, underweight, and unsure of everyone. He still has behavioral issues. He likes to jump, to play bite, and has a tendency to chew on furniture if left unattended while no one is home. Does great with our female dog. He is the sweetest boy. He sheds but has gone to the groomer many times without issue. He needs a fenced in yard, as he has run away previously. Very prey driven and has brought me a few birds since his time with us. Will go in a crate but will cry for the first bit he is in there. I love him so much, but I have to put his happiness and safety first.

Sapphire is a gorgeous new face here at FDHS! This stunning Husky was found running loose in the cold for several days before finally being brought to safety. After warming up and enjoying a full belly, her personality is starting to shine through and we’re loving what we see so far.Sapphire LOVES to sing and has just a touch of Husky drama. She walks beautifully on leash and keeps her kennel super clean throughout the day. She will need to be closely supervised and always taken outside on leash, as she can clear a six-foot fence with ease. Because of this, Sapphire is looking for a loving, active home that’s ready to keep both her body and brain busy with regular walks, runs, and enrichment.She’s shown curiosity about making dog friends, but we’re still learning how she feels about cats and other small animals.All that gorgeous white Husky floof does come with a price, lots of hair! Sapphire will need daily brushing and routine grooming to keep her coat healthy and looking its best.Though she can be a little timid at first, Sapphire has been incredibly sweet with our staff and volunteers. If you’re interested in giving this beautiful girl a loving home, please submit an adoption application.
