He was adopted for a short period of time but through no fault of his own he had to come back to the shelter. He does not like other dogs and we think the best fit for him would be an active adult family. He loves going for walks and rolling in the grass. He also knows some commands! Since Kuma gets very anxious around other dogs, the shelter setting has become a bit stressful for him especially with his large size. The staff love to walk him and say he is one of our most well behaved dogs! Hey! Do you have previous husky experience? Meet me! I'm Prince! I might not live in a castle anymore, but I sure hope I do one day. At 8 years old, I've had a lot of experiences in life and I'm ready to have a few more! I walk well on a harness and love to meet new people. However, when it comes to other dogs, no thank you! I may sometimes get a little bit TOO excited or anxious but I am easily redirected with treats or stuffies. As an older lad, I've got some health concerns with my joints, my teeth and my ears. I was diagnosed with Lyme disease but as of now I have no symptoms! The medical staff taking care of me would be happy to talk to you about all my quirks before adopting.
