I have a joyful presence that makes it easy to fall in love with me the moment you meet me. I’m looking for a family who’s excited to welcome a loving, affectionate companion into their life. If you’re searching for a dog who brings happiness wherever she goes, I might be the perfect match for you.If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20)Leash and collar included

Sierra is a Shepherd, Akita, Husky mix female who has come into the shelter as an owner release. Very friendly and absolutely gorgeous at 2 years old, Sierra loves to run and play and is looking for an active family to have adventures with. Sier4a seems to do well with other dogs and has lived with her canine pal, Barron, who is also at the shelter seeking a forever home. This beautiful girl is a complete package of fun and love and smarts that will prove to be a great companion for people who thrive on the unique characteristics of her breed mix. Sierra is a courtesy post for the Brooke County Animal Shelter in Beechbottom, WV, about 45 minutes from Pittsburgh.
