🐾 Meet Dodger! 🐾 Dodger is a 3-year-old Akita mix weighing in at 57 lbs of energy, personality, and fun! 💥 This handsome guy is always ready to go—whether it’s playtime, exploring the yard, or joining you on your next adventure. Dodger would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his zest for life and help him channel all that enthusiasm into positive outlets. - Kennel and potty trained - yay! He’s a social pup who does great with other dogs and kids, and he absolutely loves having friends to play with! 🐕‍🦺👧 Dodger is still working on his manners—he can be strong on leash and gets excited (hello, jumping!), but with some consistency and training, he has all the potential to be an amazing companion. He’s a smart boy who just needs someone willing to guide him. Sky carries with him the iconic Husky personality that makes his breed such a sought after family-friend. Here at the shelter we all try not to pick favorites, but this perfect guy certainly makes that a challenge. Sky is current on his vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and ready to grace you with his presence just as soon as you make the decision to fill out that adoption application. This boy's personality can be summed up in three simple words: Goofy, Extroverted, and PLAYFUL! As he patiently awaits his new family here at the shelter, he enjoys the company of staff and volunteers. Here are some things they'd like to tell you about him!: "Sky is the most perfect, personality-filled dog I've ever met. He loves all toys, he's super smart, and is just a happy-go-lucky guy!" Sky may technically be beyond his puppy years, but you wouldn't be able to tell by how much he loves to run and play. For this reason, we would describe his energy level as an 8-9/10. Housetraining Status: After an initial adjustment period, Sky should do well with a consistent schedule. Sky should do well in a home with kids and dogs of all ages given slow and proper introductions. We are unsure how he would do with cats. His favorite activities include: Playing with toys of any kind, getting his belly rubbed, and being told how beautiful he is.
