**** Please read adoption information carefully!!!**** Dante is a stunningly handsome little boy -male, 5-6 months -probably a mix of some sort -Neutered -Weight : 29 lbs Dante is a funny little bundle of joy, energy, and affection. Dante is still a puppy, and will continue to grow. He is on the smaller side, but has an abundance of affection and cuteness! Dante is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. He has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression, although he can occasionally be a little rambunctious. All of the puppies are fed together, and typically choose to share bowls. Dante is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. He is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. While I have never seen him interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem. ************************************ ADOPTION INFORMATION ************************************ I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity. No long distance. Certainly no out of state. I cannot respond to questions as to whether the animal is available. Please DO NOT contact me asking if the animal is available. If the dog is listed as adoptable, it is available. A home check and a background check are MANDATORY to be considered. If you are unable or unwilling to consent to these requirements, please do not apply. An adoption interview Is REQUIRED. One of our volunteers must meet and observe the dog interact with every member of the household, including pets. Preference will be given to individuals who follow the instructions AND provide complete information for adoption purposes. 1) Please go to our website ( http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html ) 2) submit it online. Oscar is a loving energetic 11yr old pom mix. Tan and White color, very healthy. Very easy going. He can be a lap dog, can sit at your feet, go on a walk, will stick close off leash. He is ok with other dogs. He is good with people and kids; he will let you know if there is someone at the door and will follow your lead. He's on the smaller side about 45lbs., super low maintenance. Really pretty adaptable; he can be your new bff, snuggle bug or give you space. Loves to play fetch and get his snacks. He’s got plenty of life left in him and would be a great companion for anyone from young to old, single or a family setting. I'm unable to care for him due to my busy work schedule and an upcoming move out of state. Oscar was my mother's dog. I adopted him when she passed. It breaks my heart to part with Oscar, this little guy will always be excited to see you and waiting at the door when you get home! I just want to see him go to a good home where he will continue to strive and to be loved
