Story
Zara – A Stunning Soul Searching for the Right Pack Zara isn’t just any dog—she’s a breathtaking 2-year-old Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Wolfdog mix with a heart as big as her paws. Her DNA confirms she’s mostly Alaskan Malamute and Husky, with 14% wolf and 7% Calupoh (Mexican Wolfdog), making her truly one-of-a-kind. Wolfdogs like Zara are highly social but naturally cautious, so her future family must be patient and committed to giving her the time she needs to feel secure in new environments. Once she bonds, she bonds for life. Zara is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves snuggles and pets from her trusted humans. She also enjoys zoomies in the yard, splashing in the pool, and playing with squeaky toys. She thrives in homes where she’s not left alone for long and can spend quality time with her people. Zara is smart, knows basic commands, and has been wonderful with staff, volunteers, and other dogs—with proper introductions. She walks well on leash but can be wary of loud noises or busy environments. She would do best in calm, natural spaces like hiking trails or open land, rather than crowded downtown areas or bustling parks. A securely fenced yard (minimum 6 feet) is a must, as Wolfdogs are intelligent and sometimes escape-prone. Adoption Requirements: Prior experience with Wolfdogs, Alaskan Malamutes, Siberian Huskies, or similar large spitz breeds (highly preferred) Owned home only (no apartments) Fully fenced yard with at least 6-foot fencing Adult-only household Zara is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on flea and heartworm prevention. She’s a staff and volunteer favorite, and we are committed to finding her the knowledgeable, loving, and safe forever home she deserves. Think you might be Zara’s person? Apply today! Her specialized adoption fee helps ensure she goes to the right home for her unique needs.

Story
Hello there, my name's London. I am a very friendly girl who loves people. I'm great at giving hugs, and I'm so tall that I can hug you like a person! I'm a little picky about what dogs I like, but I do like to make friends and play with other dogs sometimes! Most of all, I am playful, SO sweet, and would love a loving home where I can fully blossom.
