Story
Loki: Siberian Husky Loki is purebred, however we did not get him from the breeder. We adopted him from someone I knew who got a husky puppy, and then that husky outgrew her by size and weight and she couldn't handle it. At the time, Tim had a purebred (unregistered), intact, husky female - who we still have but now she is spayed - that he had planned to breed with Loki for one litter. In our due diligence, we got them both tested and registered with everything. With his file is the Embark DNA results for breed and genetics, CAER eye test (2022), OFA registration (2022), CKC registration and certificates, signed paperwork to transfer CKC registration to the new owner, and all reports that come with each registration. He is now neutered - so none of it really matters other than the CKC registration, but it's there in case the new owners would want it. He is rambunctious and stubborn. Very sweet and loving to his family, but definitely has that Husky "I know best" attitude. He loves to play and throw paws with his people. But will cuddle on the couch with a toy or bone when he is ready to settle down. Crate trained, house trained, rides well in a car. Confident when going to new places and meeting people. Good with dogs and kids. Good with cats if they are indoors and you are supervising. His house is his home and he does not run away if given the opportunity. Does not have 'manners' so he will jump excitedly to meet new people. Does not necessarily want to be a lap dog, just wants to be with his people.

Kovu and Memphis are a bonded pair that were turned into a local Animal Control in April. They’re super sweet. Kovu has never met a stranger. Memphis warms up fast. Kovu is 12 years old and Memphis is 5. They are listed as husky malamute mix and they are very tall but both very thin. We are looking for a Foster or Adopter that can keep the pair together.

Let’s get Jasmine a home for the holidays! She is a WONDERFUL big puppy who absolutely adores EVERYONE! Jasmine was originally a bottle baby with us earlier in the year and she and her siblings were all adopted. However, her new owner had a family emergency and was unable to keep her. Now she is back with us and desperately needs a forever home! Her mom appears to have been an Akita and her dad was a mixed breed with some husky (one of her siblings got a DNA test done). She is nine months old and weighs 58 pounds. She will probably get upwards of 75 pounds when fully grown. Jasmine has grown up in a home with other large breed dogs and with kids ranging from toddlers and up. Her adopters also had little kids and big dogs. Jasmine is crate trained and house trained. She ADORES kids!! She’s also a big puppy and loves playtime with all other dogs. She’s not the most coordinated when running around, but she’s up for playtime with everyone and is often our “greeter” at adoption events.
