Story
Hi! I’m a 1.5-year-old Alaskan Malamute mix with lots of energy and love to give. I’m about 90 lbs and absolutely love playing with other dogs — doggy daycare is one of my favorite places! I’m house trained, crate trained, and do well crated for 5-8 hours. I love toys (especially squeaky ones) and being close to my people. I do pretty well on leash but can get very excited when I see other dogs and may pull toward them. I also have a strong prey drive and would benefit from continued training to help with focus on walks. I can have some separation anxiety, so I’d do best in an active home with lots of companionship — another dog would be a big bonus. I am not good with cats or other small animals due to my strong prey drive. If you’re looking for a playful, social, and loyal companion, I might be your perfect match!

This is the first step of the adoption process.    Meet Blu. This gorgeous Malamute mix is looking for a new home. She will be 3 years old in October. She is a sweet, gentle girl that knows several basic commands and is solidly house trained. She is crate trained, but would likely be fine left out or in a baby gated area. She hasn't been destructive. She would ideally love a fenced yard, but is also good on leash. She tends to whine when in the car and would not be the best traveling dog. Blu has been around children of all ages and does well. She has never lived with cats.   Blu tends to snap at larger dogs when she first meets them. The reason for rehoming is due to not getting along with one of the larger dogs in the home. She seems to be very tolerant and ok with smaller dogs. Blu occasionally does take Trazadone when going to the groomers to both help with the car ride and the groom.   Blu is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. Hey everyone! Meet lilo! Lilo is a 4 year old 40 pound insanely beautiful and well behaved dog! Lilo is absolutely incredible with her house and crate manners and she is wonderful with kids and all dogs. Lilo does have a prey drive outside of her foster mom’s home but inside she has been great. Her foster mom does not have cats but we are recommending no cats for lilo. She is wonderful again with all dogs. One her besties is a 40 pound female pit bull and lilo and her romp all day! Lilo is incredibly intelligent and she is her foster mom’s favorite dog. Everyone raves about how amazing lilo is and how smart she is! Adoption donation fee is $100 which it is tax-deductible and goes towards the care of homeless pets with Unchained Souls Canine Rescue.
