Story
I was given this dog from a friend who had it for some years. I am looking for him to go to a home that will truly love him. Truly love him as have him preferably as an only dog to have time to play with him, walk him, and overall have a space for him with a big fence because he is an escape master. A home where he can run free and not be tied up all day! To my knowledge he will need medical attention due to having a bad scar near his butt. He is very well trained and loves to cuddle and roll around in the mud and grass.

Story
Koda is a fun loving goofball of a 4 year old German shepherd husky mix. His favorite things to do is play tug of war with his ropes and make you wait out side in the freezing cold while he relaxes and takes in all the cold weather. When he's not playing he loves to cuddle up and watch tv with you and when it's time for bed, best be sure he is going to steel one of blankets to curl up in bed with you. Koda has one of the biggest personality's a dog could have and if he wants your attention he will be sure to use that typical husky talk to be heard. Koda started life off on the rough side when I had saved him as a pup, he was deathly sick and had been bullied away from his food. The vet told me he may not make it but he pulled through and is healthy and stronger than ever and has been my little buddy ever since. It pains me to see him go away but due to unforeseen circumstances in my life I can no longer care for Koda. and just want to make sure he goes to loving caring home. At first he may be standoffish and not really wanting to be pet but just give him some time to warm up to you and once he dose I know he will give you all the love in the world.    If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Adoption fee is $200 with approved application, applications can be filled out at this link. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10167/generic .We cannot guarantee breed or size when full grown. ##1582808##

Story
Please meet Mr. PO! He is a 7 year old long haired Alaskan Malamute. He is 98lbs. We got him when he was a puppy, from a breeder in FL. His birthday is on Thanksgiving. Mr. PO is calm natured and non-aggressive! He is an only child and pretty independent. He enjoys playing with toys, balls, and relaxing outside. He is treat obsessed! He is easy going and loves belly rubs. He enjoys playing with other dogs, but also loves is quite time. He is potty trained and is house broken. He is well mannered in the house. Mr. PO does well boarding and is fine with car rides. He is up to date on all shots and has regular vet visits. He doesn't have any health concerns, and is fixed. It would be best if he goes into a single dog home. We have made the decision to rehome him due to health issues, and the care of maintenance of him. If you have questions feel free to reach out!

Story
Max is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Our Max, 8 year old male Alaskan Malamute is getting increasingly more anxious as he ages. He has begun marking his territory in the house constantly, and he is absolutely petrified of storms. We have 5 huskies, 3 male, 2 female and we think Max really needs to be an only pet for the remainder of his days. He is healthy, loving, loyal, thinks he is a lap dog. Would be great for someone needing a companion as he always want to be sitting or laying at your side. We rescued him from a puppy mill about 2 years ago where he was left outside in a stall/kennel for most of his life. This is why we thing he is terrified of storms. He shakes and needs to be comforted for a good 30 minutes before a storm even arrives. Currently he is an indoor dog with full access doggie door to the outside fenced yard 24/7. He HATES to be left alone and locked out in the yard. It is the only time he will bark. As he ages and gets more nervous he marks anytime a male dog is near him. We have tried EVERYTHING to make it stop but it hasn’t. He may need anxiety chews or something but I feel terrible that he is constantly feeling that anxiousness. We have 5 kids and I run an in home daycare. He is good with kids and animals of all ages. As he ages he doesn’t love to be crawled on or picked at by the toddlers so much so he will give them a little verbal back off but he has never nipped at or bitten anyone. He is neutered and up to date on his rabies vac. He is just such a sweet boy and we don’t know what to do with him. We want him to be happy in a less stressful environment. If you are interested in Max email Thejourneybloomington@gmail.com or text 812 671 2013. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***
