Story
This super attractive dude named Arrow is STILL looking for his forever people. He has a few things however you will need to not have to qualify for him. No young kids under 15, no small animals, no dogs in home due to jealousy. Arrow came to us from an owner that told us we had to muzzle for everything. Walks, brushing, everything. We brushed him without a muzzle and he loved it. We socialized him he greets people well except for the occasional excited body slam (oofff). He will protect his people with his life from any pesky critters. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, leave it, and shake bilaterally but that tends to be a more of a bilateral slap. Arrow is highly food driven. He loves…. That isn’t even the word for it…. Worships food. He will woo and bounce for food. He’s pretty animated. He bonds pretty fast with people and definitely prefers the ladies. But likes attention from everyone though! He can be a crab when he feels brushing should be done. He will snip and low rumbles of useless growls. I give him a rest and start all over again. When he sheds he sheds like a sheep it pulls out like wool in thick wooly pieces. I think we’ve told enough about our star arrow. We love him here so much. Oh one more thing he hates wrong word …. Detests veterinarians. He will need sedating or you will I’m unsure? Want to adopt this goofy dork ? Shoot us a meet and greet application below and we can check it out!! https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSfnMCqc.../viewform...

Story
Here’s our precious nahla. This girl is NEVER sad. Hence her expression in every single photograph! This darling malamute mix came to us last year with all her babies. Well, her babies all have been long adopted into forever homes while she still sits here with a beautiful smile on her face and waits. She walks well on the leash of course after the initial crazy I’m going for a walk insanity gets out of her. She loves love and praise almost and notice I said almost, as much as she enjoys her food. This fun loving gal loves other dogs too. She would adore a doggie friend of either sex or any age. Just company for her will make her world complete. She’s a high energy girl that can leap big buildings and vehicles in a single jump. ( we only kid on half of this) this young lady wrote escape artist 101. She needs to have a doggie prison break outfit. Order one stat for her. Nahla is a runner hence “escape artist “ but she oddly did come back the one and only time she toured or tortured the neighborhood. That we do not which it was that day. Nahla loves …uh hum… too much loves kitties . She will chase so she can’t always be 100% predictable no dog can. She loves her people truly more then life itself. She would do best with someone home a lot with her. Oh, and she hugs. You heard right .,. She hugs,. Now go apply to meet the hugging nahla at the link below she’ll be waiting to wrap Her big feet right around you! Want to meet this smiling, huggy girl that also Gives superb kisses is up for adoption now. Please fill out our meet and greet application and we will be in touch with you as soon as can we can. We are looking for a home with a fenced in yard preferably a prison fence that will keep her in seriously, though we do need to tall fence for her. And of course she can scale chain-link fences at nobody’s business zip lines, however, work fantastic for her as long as she’s got a martindale collar on, so that is something we will work with you on if you do not have a fenced in yard or even if you have a fenced in yard and you do not have the adequate fencing please fill out the meet and greet application below, and we will be in touch with you soon as possible Meet &greet application : https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSfnMCqc.../viewform...

Story
This perfect sweetheart is named Iris. She is a Alaskan malamute who absolutely adores attention from anyone and everyone who will give it to her. She’s a tad shy upon first meeting but she will warm up extremely quickly especially if you have food. That’s the way to her heart. Through her stomach. This sweet angel is a talker and she will let you know how she feels about everything. And if you didn’t catch it the first time she’ll tell you again. Iris is crate trained and house trained but it does take her time to figure out where to go in a new place. Iris sadly doesn’t play nicely with other dogs. She was never properly socialized with them. Iris is more scared of them than anything. So in her fear, if she chooses to fight, we think someday she might be able to have a friend however, with careful, socialization and controlled environments Iris does not do well with little animals, either due to a small animal prey drive, which is common for this breed. Iris does excellent with children. She does need a fenced in yard. However, we are looking for someone with some Malamute experience for this beautiful girl if you would like to meet Iris, please go to our link below and fill out the meet and greet application. Iris will be waiting to talk to you! Please go to www.fewstepsfromhome.com to fill out the meet and greet application!

Story
Meet Brady! This sweet husky malamute mix is a bundle of energy. He's around 1-2 years old. He's a good boy that knows how to sit and shake, but laying down is a bit of a challenge for him but with a good treat, he will do it. He's very food motivated. Brady does get along with other dogs with proper introduction, he is a bit in your face with other dogs, so any other dog in the home would have to be patient with him. Cats are a no-no with him. He will chase them. He has a high prey drive. Brady is house and crate trained. He loves people and loves to be loved on. He loves to go for car rides. He would do fantastic with kids, but with his size he may knock down smaller children. So that something people interested need to know. He loves to walk, but he does pull on the leash especially at the beginning when he's really excited. Brady is playful and just an all-around great dog. If you do put him in a kennel, you do have to reinforce it with clips. Otherwise he's smart enough to break out. This boy is very, very intelligent and he is the ultimate escape artist. Brady will need a home with a fenced in yard. Preferably not a chain-link because he will scale. It also .no electric fences, please. If you would like to apply for Brady, please fill out our meet and greet application located below Brady can't wait to meet you. He loves company and bring him a treat. He said like he doesn't have enough here already. Meet and greet application: https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSfnMCqc.../viewform...
