Story
Meet Silas! This sweet hearted pooch unfortunately came to us because his family could no longer keep him. While he is very nervous at first he is very sweet and affectionate once he warms up. He will need a home that is experienced with escapist as he tends to try to flee. We ask that any children in the home be 10+ due to his nervousness and some guarding behaviors. He may do well with another dog who is calm and confident to help him with his nervousness. He unfortunately has significant prey drive and can not go to a home with cats or small animals.Does he sound like a good fit for your home?! Then come down and meet this handsome dog.---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Meet Maxx, a handsome and energetic young dog who carries the intelligence and independent spirit of his Alaskan Malamute heritage in a unique, less-fluffy package. Weighing around 75 pounds, this one-year-old is ready to bring his loyal and playful personality to a forever home.Maxx is a dog with character. He loves plush toys and squeakers, staring at his reflection, and a good game of basketball. He is an independent companion who appreciates his own space but is always ready to lend a helping paw, whether it be by pushing open doors to help bring in groceries or ringing the doorbell. His most endearing trait is the warm, cuddly welcome he gives when his people return home.He has a fantastic foundation thanks to his foster family. Maxx is house-trained, crate-trained (and prefers to sleep in his crate even with the door wide open), and knows basic commands like `sit` and `stop.` He loves his walks and is making great progress on leash manners, though he will do best with a confident walker who can continue his training. He has been good with older children and shows a playful curiosity toward other dogs on walks.Maxx is looking for an active, patient family who can provide him with the love and structure he needs to truly thrive. If you are ready for a devoted and wonderful companion, ask about Maxx today!Maxx is located in Houston, Tx and can be transported to most states for $300.00

Story
We are looking to rehome our 5 year old alaskan malamute Aurora. She gets along with our other dog and cat, but not sure how well she'll do with other animals. She has bitten our previous male puggle mix. She should go to a home with no small children. We are looking to rehome her because she has become aggressive with our 2 year old child. She never bit any one besides our child and has never shown aggression towards adults or older children. Has shown aggression toward small children under 5. If you have questions please email me at william.waltz54@aol.com or text me at 610-463-5927.

Story
Carson came to us from a puppy mill farm that closed down. He lived in a 10x10 run since he was a puppy with little human interaction. He is shy and timid but has learned so much in the little bit of time we have had him. He is a sweet deserving guy that will blossom with a patient family that can introduce him to life outside of a 10x10 run. He is looking for stability and someone to love. He would benefit from living with a female dog companion who can help show him what home life is like.
