He loves being outside, running, exploring, and having room to move. He would thrive with an experienced owner who understands northern breeds and can give him regular exercise, structure, and attention.Koda currently lives with two other dogs and cats and has never had any aggression toward humans. He has always been friendly with people and has never had a bite incident involving a person.

UPDATE 10/10/2026: Nala & Denali are now currently enrolled in the Sci Prison PAWS Training Program! Meet Nala and Denali! These beautiful 3 year old bonded sisters are looking for a forever home together where they can heal and start their next chapter. A Husky, Bernese Mountain Dog & Alaskan Malamute mix this duo came to the rescue through no fault of their own following an unfortunate owner circumstance. According to owner Nala is a bit more active will follow you around room to room, where as Denali loves to have her crate opened all day to go in and out of to rest or decompress. They both love running and wrestling in the big play yard at the rescue. They are both very cooperative are house trained and crate trained. They are current on vaccines and will be spayed prior to adoption. These girls would thrive in a home with a family that is familiar with the unique traits, exercise, & grooming needs of large northern/working breeds. A secure fenced yard would be wonderful for safely enjoying zoomies /playtime.
