Sadie is a 10-year-old female Husky/Malamute mix looking for a special home where she can thrive. She is loving, loyal, and very people-oriented. The Good StuffAffectionate and loves attentionEnjoys walks, treats, hikes, beaches, and being outdoorsWell-trained: muzzle, e-collar, crate, leash manners, recall, "leave it", "place", "stay"What She NeedsAdult-only home (no children)No other petsExperienced, confident ownerContinued structured management (muzzle trained)Important BackgroundSadie has a bite history involving both dogs and humans. Triggers have included feeling crowded, startled, or food-related situations. Incidents resulted in punctures but never required stitches. She has been successfully managed with a basket muzzle for 3 years with no further incidents. She recently started taking a prescription of fluoxetine (Prozac) which has really helped her.Why We're RehomingWe just had our first baby and cannot safely manager her in our home.
