Story
Goes with crate, temp scan microchip Hi I’m Moose! I’m 3-4 years old and spent most of my life chained up on someone’s front porch. This has lead to my anxiety around new things. I need someone who is patient, can read my body language, and respects my boundaries. I am a sweet, goofy, couch potato who loves to take naps outside. We brought Moose home ~9 months ago off the euthanasia list at an over crowded shelter. His biggest obstacle is his anxiety but he continues to open up every day so just go slow with new things! He does well on a leash/long lead and in the house but cannot overcome his prey drive towards our cats. We muzzle and crate trained him for this reason, but it’s just not safe for the cats for him to stay here. We love him dearly, but believe he would thrive in a home without any small animals where we could roam free and at ease. He deserves it! Happy to do meet and greets with new dogs! He has shown no signs of being dog reactive.

Story
Haku means "pure" in Japanese! I was named for my pure, passionate and overwhelming love for everyone around me! I came to the rescue when my dad was stationed in Japan and heartbroken that he couldn't take me with him. I've missed him so much ever since! Everyday I do the things I did with him with other dogs so I can try and remember what it felt like to be with him! But it's just not the same. So, I'm hoping a new family can come scoop me up and show me what it feels like to be a part of a home and family again! I am good with other dogs, I love playing chase with them or tugging on chew toys. I'll need a happy and active home so that my life will be full of love and fun! I am a bit anxious and nervous around new people, and people in general! Slow introductions, a safe space I can retreat to like a crate and not forcing me into spaces with tons of people will help me be myself all the time! Haku can only be adopted in the local or TX area. Local adoption only, in San Antonio or TX area, $200.

Story
Hello! Neptune is an adorable dog with a wonderful personality. Since moving from Colorado to Virginia, he developed severe allergies to the environment, but not allergic to beef and corn. We, however, are vegetarians due to our religious beliefs and have been feeding him accordingly. Despite his allergies, Neptune is healthy, especially with the addition of omega supplements and baths. Neptune has developed some undesirable behaviors like going to the bathroom inside and jumping up on counters. However, with the right environment, diet and consistent training, these behaviors can be corrected. We believe Neptune would thrive with active individuals or families who can provide him with the exercise and attention he needs. He gets along well with other cats and dogs, making him a great addition to any household. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion, Neptune could be great addition. If you believe you can offer Neptune a loving home please apply.
