I bought from a friend when he was just a puppy, he is now 9 years old but my family has grown and life has become a bit hectic. I am now moving and unable to bring him to my new housing situation. He needs open backyard to run around or daily walking and activity and that is something I can no longer provide for him. I am not allowed to have him on my new living situation which is a heartbreaking situation but he is calm and neutered as well. I would like him to have a home where can be watched and taken care of daily like he deserves. I am not charging any fee because I’m not looking for money I’m just looking for someone to love him and take care of him. He has only been around 1 other dog his whole life and he has been gentle but he isn’t very gentle to intruding animals. He is protective of his home. He has also always been kind to humans and never shown any aggression to adults or kids.

Meet Strider💙 — the handsome adventure buddy with the best mismatched eyes. Strider is a 7-year-young neutered male with a sweet, playful personality and a truly unforgettable look — he has one blue eye and one brown eye. He’s the kind of dog who will happily join you for a walk, romp around the yard, and then come inside to hang out and be your shadow. Strider is moderate energy: he loves walks, but he’s also totally happy to relax at home and play with you inside. While he’d love a yard to zoom around in, he would also likely do just fine in an apartment as long as he gets daily exercise and enrichment. ✅ Good with other dogs 🚫 Probably not good with cats (he is VERY interested in them) ✅ Great with visitors — he may give a couple soft “boofs,” then settles right in Strider enjoys toys (especially rubber balls) and one of his favorite hobbies is… enthusiastically destroying rubber toys. If you like buying toys and watching your dog have the time of his life? Strider is your guy. He is also neutered and fully vaccinated.
