Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DUKE is pure joy wrapped in a big, happy grin. This cheerful, go&#226&#128&#145with&#226&#128&#145the&#226&#128&#145flow guy LOVES his walks and lights up the moment he knows it’s adventure time. He’s still learning not to chase squirrels and other speedy little critters, so he’ll do best with a confident handler who can help him stay focused when excitement strikes. Around other dogs, DUKE is curious and polite. He tends to choose female playmates, but honestly, he’s the kind of dog who just wants to get along with everyone. Toys are his love language, and cool weather turns him into an absolute delight — he does the cutest little hops at the start of every walk when the temperature drops. DUKE would make a fantastic hiking buddy. He naturally prefers to walk single file ahead of his person, taking in the world with enthusiasm while still checking in. He’s also a big fan of car rides and will happily join you for any outing. This boy is deeply people&#226&#128&#145oriented. If left alone outside, he’ll try his best to get back to his humans, so he’ll need a sturdy enclosure or, even better, someone who enjoys having him close. Indoors, he’s a gentleman — he sleeps in his crate every night without a fuss. DUKE is ready for a life filled with adventure, companionship, and someone who appreciates his big heart and bigger personality.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 1, 2026, 9:06 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.SHADOW is a stunning, snow&#226&#128&#145white gentleman with a voice he’s proud to share and a heart that melts for his humans. He loves his walks, loves his pets, and absolutely loves leaning in close for that classic Malamute snuggle. He’s friendly with people and may do well with a calm canine companion—he recently lived peacefully with another dog. This boy is sharp as they come. SHADOW thrives on routine and picks up new things quickly. He already knows sit, stay, down, come, outside, treat, eat, and walk. Mealtime is a polite affair—he’ll wait patiently until he’s given the go&#226&#128&#145ahead. And if he needs something, he’ll come find you and lead you right to the door or his water bowl like the clever communicator he is. His manners are truly impressive. SHADOW won’t counter&#226&#128&#145surf, steal snacks, or help himself to anything unless he’s told it’s okay. Outside, he’s a calm, content yard&#226&#128&#145lounger who doesn’t dig. On walks, he’s curious about other dogs but stays composed and doesn’t react. What SHADOW needs most is a home that appreciates his goofy charm, his gentle nature, and the way he makes every day feel a little brighter. He’s currently living with one of our wonderful foster volunteers, waiting for the family who will see just how special he is.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 25, 2026, 2:22 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.LUNA’s story is one of resilience and heart. This sweet girl was found abandoned in an orchard near Yakima, WA, and brought to a shelter for safety. During her checkup, it was discovered she had a bullet lodged in her cheek—yet even with that shocking discovery, the vet confirmed it isn’t causing her pain or medical concerns. Through it all, LUNA has remained gentle, trusting, and full of spirit. Now settling in at Malley Valley, she’s soaking up affection while she waits for the loving forever home she deserves. LUNA adores people, carries a bright, positive energy, and has wonderful manners. She knows some basic commands, walks well on a leash, and would benefit from a bit more training. One of her favorite things is leaning in close for pets and connection. Curious, adventurous, and ready for a fresh start, LUNA is eager to explore new trails, new places, and a whole new life with someone who sees how special she is.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 25, 2026, 2:00 pm

Story
Meet Lola — a 3-year-old, 66-lb fluffy, drop-dead gorgeous gray/tan/white Malamute babe who looks like she stepped straight out of a shampoo commercial and into your heart. Lola is the kind of girl who runs right up to you with kisses, loose happy vibes, and zero hesitation about making new friends. She’s curious, sweet, and serves extremely cute head tilts when she hears something interesting (which is honestly most things). She was calm and cooperative for all her intake care, happily exploring and soaking in the world around her like the soft-spoken explorer she is.True to her name, Lola is gentle, a little sensitive (she can be head shy), and much prefers cozy over chaos. Loud vehicles? Not her jam. Snuggling up in a calm home where she can relax, decompress, and fully blossom? Absolutely yes. She’s been pretty quiet in the shelter, but don’t let that fool you — this girl is clearly meant to be someone’s gorgeous sidekick, living her best “whatever Lola wants” life on a comfy couch instead of a kennel. If you’re looking for a sweet, fluffy soulmate with movie-star looks and a tender heart, Lola is ready to come home and get cozy with you! The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.
