Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Chevy and Harley are a bonded pair of 4½-year-old, 50 lb Husky/Alaskan Malamute brothers who have been patiently waiting in foster care for their forever home. These two are truly something special! They are incredibly sweet, social, and easy to love. Both boys are great with other dogs, wonderful with kids, and friendly with everyone they meet. They’re house-trained, well-adjusted, and have experience living in a home. Chevy and Harley thrive on being part of the action. They don’t need marathon runs every day, but they do want a full life — outings, car rides, park days, brewery visits, off-leash adventures, weekend excursions — they’re always happy to tag along. They’ve done fantastic at breweries, parks, off-leash dog parks, and social gatherings. They’re confident, well-mannered, and love being included. They walk well on leash, enjoy staying close to their people, and are comfortable with grooming and regular brushing (which will be important to keep up with their coats). They’re affectionate, gentle, and happiest when they’re near their humans. Because they are social and people-oriented, they would do best in a home where someone isn’t gone for very long hours every day. They genuinely love being part of a family. They are ready for a home that will give them the full, active, love-filled life they deserve — together. Both boys are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. Their adoption fee together is $800.

Story
Hi… I’m Cony. I may look strong and steady now, but my story began much too harshly, much too early. When I was only three months old, I was tied up in a place where dogs were not loved — a place where I was never meant to feel safe. I was still just a baby who should have been beside my mother, yet all I knew was a rope and a fear I didn’t understand. One day, the rope came loose, and I stepped out into the world. But the world wasn’t safe for a tiny puppy either. I wandered until people tried to catch me. They had to use tranquilizer darts — three times. Not because I hated people. Not because I ran away from them. But because I kept going toward them. Even then, I wagged my tail. I looked into their eyes. I tried to walk closer. And somehow, that small, stubborn love in my heart gave me another chance at life. I still love people. I greet new faces with a gentle, open heart, and I get along well with other dogs too. I walk nicely on a leash, ride calmly in the car, and can stay comfortably in a flight crate if needed. I understand basic cues like sit, paw, down, and house, and I always try my best to listen. I just… really love affection. When you pet me, I might quietly ask, “Can you love me a little more?” It isn’t a behavior problem — it’s simply the tender heart of a dog who didn’t receive enough love in the beginning. Right now, I’m doing well with my potty routine. But if I move to a new home, I may have a few accidents at first. New environments can make me nervous, and I may need some time to adjust. If you guide me gently and give me patience, I promise I will learn and settle in beautifully. I’m only three years old — still young, yet I’ve already been through so much. And still, I never gave up on people. I still walk toward you. I still wag my tail. What I’m wishing for isn’t anything extraordinary — just someone who calls my name, a happy walk each day, and the quiet reassurance that says, “You’re safe now.” I hope the next chapter of my life is not about fear, but about peaceful, ordinary days filled with love. Will you be the family who writes that story with me? 🐾💛

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DUKE is pure joy wrapped in a big, happy grin. This cheerful, go&#226&#128&#145with&#226&#128&#145the&#226&#128&#145flow guy LOVES his walks and lights up the moment he knows it’s adventure time. He’s still learning not to chase squirrels and other speedy little critters, so he’ll do best with a confident handler who can help him stay focused when excitement strikes. Around other dogs, DUKE is curious and polite. He tends to choose female playmates, but honestly, he’s the kind of dog who just wants to get along with everyone. Toys are his love language, and cool weather turns him into an absolute delight — he does the cutest little hops at the start of every walk when the temperature drops. DUKE would make a fantastic hiking buddy. He naturally prefers to walk single file ahead of his person, taking in the world with enthusiasm while still checking in. He’s also a big fan of car rides and will happily join you for any outing. This boy is deeply people&#226&#128&#145oriented. If left alone outside, he’ll try his best to get back to his humans, so he’ll need a sturdy enclosure or, even better, someone who enjoys having him close. Indoors, he’s a gentleman — he sleeps in his crate every night without a fuss. DUKE is ready for a life filled with adventure, companionship, and someone who appreciates his big heart and bigger personality.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 6, 2026, 6:04 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.SHADOW is a stunning, snow&#226&#128&#145white gentleman with a voice he’s proud to share and a heart that melts for his humans. He loves his walks, loves his pets, and absolutely loves leaning in close for that classic Malamute snuggle. He’s friendly with people and may do well with a calm canine companion—he recently lived peacefully with another dog. This boy is sharp as they come. SHADOW thrives on routine and picks up new things quickly. He already knows sit, stay, down, come, outside, treat, eat, and walk. Mealtime is a polite affair—he’ll wait patiently until he’s given the go&#226&#128&#145ahead. And if he needs something, he’ll come find you and lead you right to the door or his water bowl like the clever communicator he is. His manners are truly impressive. SHADOW won’t counter&#226&#128&#145surf, steal snacks, or help himself to anything unless he’s told it’s okay. Outside, he’s a calm, content yard&#226&#128&#145lounger who doesn’t dig. On walks, he’s curious about other dogs but stays composed and doesn’t react. What SHADOW needs most is a home that appreciates his goofy charm, his gentle nature, and the way he makes every day feel a little brighter. He’s currently living with one of our wonderful foster volunteers, waiting for the family who will see just how special he is.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 25, 2026, 2:22 pm
