Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Interested in adopting? See our adoption process. ABERDEEN who also comes to ABI is a sweet girl who loves her adult humans.  She is friendly and enjoys pets, treats and just hanging out with people.  ABI knows basic commands of sit, stay, come and down.  She is smart and it would just take a few treats and being consistently worked with to learn more. Currently, ABI is not walked much, but does enjoy to the chance to get out and explore on a leash.  Being a typical malamute she does pull on the leash at first, especially if she sees a critter. Since she does not receive daily or long walks she will need to be eased into it and see how she does. You can leave ABI home alone and she will nap while waiting for your return.  However, do not leave any tasty snacks out on the counter because she cannot pass those up. ABI prefers to be the only dog and Queen of  the home. She especially does not like small dogs or other small animals.  Young children are also not ideal, however she would might be fine with older, considerate kids. ABI's future furever home should have the time to give her the full attention she deserves and patience to ease into activities with her. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.COURTESY LISTING If you would like to learn more about MAUI please contact mailentom24@gmail.com. Maui (the Sun God in Hawaiian) is a 4 year old wooly Alaskan Malamute who is one half of a bonded pair with his 3 year old Siberian Husky sister, Hina (the Moon Goddess).  Maui is an AKC registered and neutered male. His rabies vaccination is current and he has no known health issues. As a wooly malamute, Maui will require extra attention to his grooming.   Maui is affectionate, loves attention, and will ask his humans to play. He is active, very smart, and loves to "talk/howl"! Maui knows how to sit and shake and generally listens well, but still needs some leash training to minimize pulling. He loves his squeaky toys, and rough housing with his sister! Maui is a good dog for a home with adults and older children. A future furever family for MAUI would have time to spend with him, with frequent activities, and lots of loving pets.  Also he would appreciate that his BFF, HINA could move with him to his new home too! Maui and Hina are reluctantly being rehomed due to unforeseen circumstances and a relocation beyond the owners’ control. Preferably, they will stay together.   IMPORTANT - Please Note:  MAUI is being listed as a courtesy. Story
Oggie Doggie is a 4 year old Pure Bred Alaskan Malamute. When we say he is the best boy EVER, we can not stress it enough. In typical Malamute fashion, this boy is a LOVE. He has yet to meet a stranger and also does well with other dogs and grew up in a home with a cat. He is crate trained and although he does not have any formal training, he walks well on leash and is very well behaved. Oggie grew up in Texas and the Summer heat is cutting back on his exercise and daily outside activities. He is looking for a home in cooler temps and would be an amazing hiking companion.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Interested in adopting? See our adoption process. LUDO is a big, goofy purebred Wooly Malamute who loves people.  He is smart and knows several commands; sit, down, come, shake.  He is treat motivated and will be easy to train further. An ideal day for LUDO would start with a car ride to a park, mountains, lake, anywhere he can walk and enjoy the outdoors.  If there is an opportunity to run off leash he will do many zoomies and return to you for some loving pets.  Once he is back home he will be ready for more pets, snuggles and belly rubs followed by a nap. LUDO should be an only furbaby in the house because he insists on receiving all the attention.  He has not been around human childern so a slow introduction to older considerate kids would be best.   LUDO will be a great companion and is looking for a loving home who will spend time with him, spoil him and has a large fenced yard for him to relax in. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Introducing Kenji! He is a 3-year-old, 50lb Malamute/Siberian Husky mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He is an awesome dog with stunning blue eyes and a vibrant red coat! He walks well on leash and doesn’t pull too much, however, could benefit from more leash work and basic obedience training. He is treat motivated and takes treats gently. Kenji has done well with other dogs in our care and would make a great additional dog to a home or he would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. He is very sweet, loving, and will be an extremely loyal companion to whoever adopts him. Kenji has a good amount of energy to him and would love a household that provides him with an active lifestyle, however, he is also able to be a total couch potato. He is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.
