Guinevere is estimated to be about 5 years old, and weighs 63 pounds. She is vocal, which can be typical of the breed. She will swoon you with her lovely singing voice. She is pretty easy to walk and likes to zigzag to sniff all the smells. She loves to explore! She is a big fan of treats and attention. She has the long, dense coat that comes with this breed so some grooming through her life will be required. Guinevere would require a dog meeting to make sure they get along–she has gotten along well with most dogs and prefers males. She enjoys playing in the yards here with her pal, George. Miko Snuggle Sized won the Snacky Smackies Award almost immediately, and we wish you could hear him eating a treat, it is full-blown snacky smackie goodness! The best part is he has absolutely no concern for how adorable he’s being. This big, gorgeous boy loves his snacks, gives wonderful kisses, and is will happily be your little spoon. At 78 pounds, “little” is open to interpretation, but Miko is proud to make it work. He’s bigger than your average Husky, with plenty of soft fur to sink your hands into and a lovely, confident way about him. He is wonderful in the car. Open the door and he jumps right in, settles beautifully, and enjoys the ride. A little breeze through his fur is especially appreciated. On our outings, he was quiet and well behaved, happily taking it all in without trying to climb around. He has great sea legs, too—comfortable keeping his balance as you make your way down the road. This boy has a permanent seat in our jeep if a drive is in order and he is available. Miko is good with other dogs and meets them confidently. He has a playful side and will bounce around with a friend, but he’s also perfectly happy to go lie down when he’s had his fun. Another dog could be lovely company, though we don’t think he needs a canine roommate to be happy. Time with his people seems to suit him just fine. And the snuggling? So good! Miko loves to get close, settle in, and give you kisses. Depending on how much room you take up, he makes a wonderful little spoon, but either way, you’ll have a very substantial cuddle buddy. He’s friendly meeting new people, too, so you won’t have to spend long admiring him from a distance before getting personally acquainted. From what we’ve seen, Miko is both house and crate trained. He has also been a quiet companion in the home, without much of the vocal commentary Huskies are known for. At seven, he still has plenty of bounce when he wants it, along with an appreciation for lying down and getting comfortable. No one yet has met him without rather quickly saying “What a good dog.” And we agree! Easy company, affectionate, happy to make friends, and a pleasure to take along. Freya will be 3 years old on March 28, 2027. She is very loving to people but not to other animals. She would work out well with a home that has no other pets. It breaks my heart to have to get rid of her, but I have no other choice. My husband is 84 years old and I am 77. It isn’t fair to my other dog. Greta is 4 and is terrified of Freya. She (Greta) is a smaller and submissive dog. Freya has done no damage to Greta except an abrasion or two. But she has totally cowed Greta, she is terrified to go outside and to go by Freya. That is all I have to say about Freya’s faults and I feel that anyone who adopts her will get a loving pet as long as they don’t have any other pets.

Hi, I’m Rian 💛 I’m a 5-year-old boy, a Malamute–Husky mix, and I weigh about 23kg. I know… I look big and strong, maybe even a little cool. But if you get to know me, you’ll see—I’m actually just a big softie. I really, really love people. Even if we’ve just met, I might come right up to you like, “Hi… can we be friends?” I love being close to my person. Spending time together, making eye contact, sharing quiet moments… that’s what makes me feel safe and happy. Once I open my heart, I become very affectionate. I’ll want to stay near you, lean into you, and just be by your side as much as I can. I get along well with other dogs too! I have a gentle nature and enjoy playing, whether it’s with toys or with friends. I’m a bright, cheerful boy who just enjoys life and companionship. I was rescued from a place where my time was almost over… but I didn’t lose my trust in people. I still believe in love, and I’m still reaching out for it. I’m also a pretty quick learner! If you teach me with patience and consistency, I’ll do my best to understand and follow along. Because of my Malamute and Husky side, I do have lots of energy. I’ll need regular walks, exercise, and time to really let that energy out. A quick walk won’t always be enough—I’d love a family who enjoys being active with me. I can also have a little independent streak (maybe just a tiny bit stubborn sometimes… 😊), so I’ll need someone who can guide me with calm, steady leadership. Living in a home might be new for me, so I’ll need to learn things like house routines and potty habits from the beginning. But if you’re patient with me, I know I can become an amazing companion.
