Story
We have a 9 year old cat which we are unfortunately looking to re-home. She has been cared for and loved by us since she was a kitten but since moving to our new home has begun having behavioral issues. She was treated for a UTI about 8 months ago during which time she had begun peeing on our couch. Since then we are unable to get her to stop. We have been keeping her on our back porch and she does just fine with using the litter box out there, but when she is inside she prefers the couch. We have found that she is really picky with the litter box and doesn't like to use it after another cat which we think is part of the issue. She is extremely friendly and loves people. We really hate to see her go but we don't know what else we could do. We have reached a point where due to our finances/schedules we simply are unable to care for her the way that she needs, but we really don't want to see her go to a shelter.

Story
Iris is a very sweet cat she loves people, she will sit in your lap and sleep. She is friendly to strangers. She mostly sleeps because she is a bit older now but she likes to be pet and be around people. She doesn’t hear too well and she has cold symptoms such as sneezing so she would need to take nose relief drops with her meals. She is litter trained and eats wet food in the mornings and dry food from a drop bowl throughout the day. She also drinks from a cat water fountain. Younger cats may not get along with her but she is very nice if they are.
