Story
A big dose of adorable from the tip of my little underbite to my squiggly, swirly, smooshed in tail! Come and adopt me, Fiona! I`m a senior low-rider with a heart of gold. And I don`t come with any of that silly puppy nonsense either, being house-trained and crate-trained. I`m both easy going and easy to walk. If you want an active, high energy dog...that is definitely Not Me! However, if you like taking the slow lane and would enjoy a partner to chat with along the way, I`m your gal. I`m friendly and good with kids, too! Stop in and check me out!

Story
Meet Oreo – Your Perfect-Size Snuggle Buddy Who doesn’t love an Oreo? I’m Oreo, an 11-month-old, 43-pound bully mix from Texas, and I’m just the right size for your heart and your couch. I’m a curious, affectionate pup who loves to watch the world from the window—dogs, people, squirrels, you name it. I’m super food-motivated and eager to please, which makes training a breeze, especially if treats are involved. I may take a second to figure out what you’re asking, but I always try my best to get it right. Physical touch is my love language—I’m a total Velcro dog who needs to be close to my people at all times. I adore snuggles, belly rubs, and go absolutely crazy for butt scratches. I’m playful, goofy, and love curling up next to you (or on you, if you’ll let me). In my foster home, I live with another dog and we get along great. We enjoyed running and playing together at the dog park. I’m fully potty trained and sleep soundly through the night in my crate without any accidents. I’m also good on a leash and enjoy going for walks. I’ve seen children at adoption events and have done well with them, but I don’t currently live with any. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, and cuddly companion who will follow you everywhere and always be ready for snuggles, I might just be the perfect pup for you. I’m a great size and will easily fit in your home, on your lap, or right in the middle of a puppy pile. Could I be the Oreo your life is missing? Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . Story
Hi, I’m Margot! I am a true survivor—I made a life-saving journey from a Texas kill shelter all the way to Illinois, and despite facing heartworm, I’ve bounced back stronger than ever! Now, I’m on the hunt for my forever family, and trust me, you’ll want to be part of my next chapter. Why You’ll Love Me: I’m the ultimate mix of playful, mellow, laidback, and affectionate. Whether it’s morning zoomies in the yard or snuggling up on the couch, I bring love and joy into every moment. The second you walk through the door, I’ll be there to greet you like you’re the most important person in the world—because to me, you are! My Favorite Things: *Chew toys (a must-have for my entertainment!) *Food/snacks (yours and mine—I’m not picky!) *Close cuddles/snuggles (the closer, the better!) *Head & ear scratches (I’ll melt into your hand and snooze) *Zoomies in the backyard (A house with a fenced in backyard would be a huge plus for me!) *Cozy couch naps (I’m an expert at this one) *Being around my people (your attention is my favorite thing) My Social Side: *People & kids: I currently live with three adults and two small children, and I love them all, including the little ones. I just ask for them to be gentle and respect my personal space. *Dogs/Cats: I’ve lived with two big dogs (male and female) and did great! I wouldn’t mind a sibling, but I do best with slow introductions. I have not been in contact with any cats but may do better without. My House Manners: *Potty trained (as long as I get regular potty breaks!) *Crate training (not my favorite, but a nudge & treats help!) *Leash skills (I walk well and don’t tend to pull—though my favorite part of the walk is coming home!) *Barking habits (I’ll sound the alarm if I see someone outside, but otherwise, I’m a quiet girl.) *Commands: I’m working on “sit,” “drop it,” and “off” and picking things up quickly (especially when treats are involved!) If you’re looking for a best friend who will brighten your days, make you smile with her playful spirit, and melt into your arms for the sweetest snuggles, then I might be the perfect match for you. I’ll be your most loyal companion, your happiest welcome home, and your coziest cuddle buddy. I can’t wait to meet you and fill your life with love!
