Vida’s name means life, and it couldn’t suit her better. This beautiful boxer girl came to us from a situation of severe neglect, where she had been starved and confined to a very small space. When she first arrived, she was weak and unsure of the world around her. But in just a few short weeks in foster care, Vida has shown everyone exactly how strong and resilient she truly is. She is now at a healthy weight, continues to build strength in her hind end, and is learning what it means to feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Vida especially enjoys the companionship of people and other dogs and has done wonderfully with her foster boxer sister. Vida is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. She is currently thriving in foster care while she waits for a special home that can offer patience, consistency, and plenty of time together. Vida has already come so far.
