Porkchop is seeking a super stable home, with an experienced dog owner.  He can be your couch potato partner if you bribe him with belly rubs, or your backyard companion helping to rid the yard of birds and squirrels (and tennis balls, too!).  Porkchop is super food motivated, so it was easy to train him to sit and we know he'll do great learning lots of other new commands.  He loves to be with his person, and can be somewhat standoffish with new people or situations.  Porkchop will need to be your only dog in the home, or possibly paired with a very docile and confident larger female dog.  Pushy or over friendly dogs don't mesh well with his personality.  No kids or cats for Porkchop, please! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BB is a 50lb bundle of energy who's looking for the right home to help him shine. This affectionate pup is a fun-loving, loyal guy who is eager to learn and share adventures. BB is a fairly easy walker who enjoys exploring the park and splashing around in natural waters (pools just aren't really his thing). He would thrive with someone who's home more often than not - he's not a huge fan of being left in his kennel for long stretches. BB has lots of enthusiasm for life and would do best with the company of a playful dog companion, close to his size that is confident and calmer than he is. However, he would also do well as an only pet. When it comes to other animals, he is not a match with smaller dogs or cats. We aren't exactly sure what BB's breed mix is, our volunteers have speculated that he sort of looks and acts like an XL Boston Terrier! Pictures don't do this cutie justice, he really is adorable!  This boy is very food motivated and already knows "sit" and "shake." He loves to play ball and his own version of "catch me if you can," but he is also pretty good about giving up his toys when asked. He is still working on staying calm and keeping four paws on the ground, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, he'll make great progress. With that being said, he would not be a match for a home with young children. With the right outlet for his energy and plenty of love, BB will make a fun and loyal companion. Grayson is a 6-year-old bulldog mix who came to us as a very hungry stray and has been working hard on rebuilding his trust in the world, one meal and one belly rub at a time. He’s silly, he’s expressive, and he has the comedic timing of a dog who knows exactly how to make humans laugh.Let’s talk food. Grayson will eat anything he thinks might even smell like food. Because he came in so underfed, he developed some food aggression, which has improved a lot now that he knows meals are consistent. Still, to keep everyone safe, we recommend a home without kids since we don’t know his full background and he takes mealtime very seriously.He arrived with a rough ear infection that left him with a signature move: the spontaneous head tilt. Not the “cute pose for Instagram” kind — more like a “wait… what just happened?” tilt. It’s unexpected, hilarious, and honestly incredibly adorable.Once Grayson decides you’re trustworthy, he becomes your shadow. He’ll listen, follow you around, and work for treats with Olympic-level enthusiasm. This handsome bridle boy is happiest when he's running and playing fetch.  Atlas is well trained and knows how to sit, shake, stay, lay down, wait, come, leave it and get up. Atlas is also muzzle trained, he prefers to wear this when meeting strangers or doing scary things like visiting the vet's office.  Atlas would thrive in an active home with adults only who are dog savvy and maintain a relatively quiet home life. We don't know all of his background, but we know that strangers in the home are scary to Atlas and he isn't sure if he's supposed to protect you from them or not!  Atlas loves to play, so another playful dog in the home would make for a perfect match! Atlas is kennel and potty trained, and also loves to give kisses. A 4-6 foot high fenced in yard would be a dream come true for ol' Atlas, here he could run and play to his hearts content and maybe learn some more impressive commands with a little help from his new family.
