Story
Walter is one of those dogs who quietly steals your heart and then never gives it back. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be greeted by a dog who always has a stuffed animal in his mouth and makes the cutest little sounds just because you walked in the room… that’s Walter. Walter is a -, affectionate, happy guy who loves being close to his people. He’s house trained, crate trained, and happily runs to his crate at night on his own, usually with a toy in tow. Inside the house, he’s calm, respectful, and settles easily after excitement. Walter is polite, relaxed, and pretty neutral around other dogs. He enjoys their company but isn’t pushy or overly playful, and does best with calm, respectful dog friends. He’s friendly and affectionate, though he may bark briefly when new people arrive. Once he realizes you’re a friend, he settles quickly and is all about closeness and attention. ’ He loves carrying things around, especially stuffed animals. If he puts one down outside and you ask him where his toy is, he’ll grab it and proudly bring it back inside. Walter does well in the car and enjoys rides. He’s also doing nicely on leash and continues to improve with consistency. If you’re looking for a dog who will make you smile the second you walk in the door, quietly keep you company, and fit seamlessly into everyday life, Walter is that dog. Auroras Birthday is 6/26/22, she’s a lovable baby girl but shy at first when meeting new people. She’s never been around children, she’s only been around one other male dog. I work both a full time and part time job which has made it extremely difficult to give her the love and attention she needs.
