Pearl originally came to our shelter as a puppy (see cute baby picture) on a transport with her mom and she was adopted right away. Through no fault of her own, Pearl has found herself back with our rescue 3 years later looking for a new family or person. She has grown into a beautiful, 45lb petite Boxer mix who absolutely loves snuggling on the couch as much as she loves playing with her toys. She knows when it’s time to play and when it’s time for calm. She's very in tune🧘‍♀️ Pearl is looking for a predictable home life, one where she can enjoy a daily routine with her human. She would do well as a work from home buddy! Older teens and possibly a well-matched dog could be options for her. She can be shy at first, but with respect slow interactions, she warms up pretty quickly. Meet Lumos, a bright and bouncy 1-year-old Boxer mix whose name is as magical as his personality! Weighing in at 45 lbs, Lumos is full of life, love, and goofy charm. This playful pup is a total socialite—he adores other dogs and thrives on playtime, especially games of fetch and tug of war. He’s not just fun—he’s smart too! Lumos already knows several commands like sit, stay, lay, paw, and place, and he’s fully potty trained. Lumos greets everyone like a long-lost friend, bringing enthusiastic energy and a wagging tail wherever he goes. Because of his exuberant spirit (and a bit of jumping), he’d be happiest in a home with older children. Due to his energy levels, he would love a fenced in yard for playing fetch and he would prefer a home without kitties. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate, and active companion, Lumos might be your perfect match!
