Story
Asher is a beautiful boy. He is protective in personality and would do well with some one familiar with guard breeds. We are having a baby and cannot keep him. He is a deaf dog but understands sign language. He can run off leash and will return to your side. He would be a great police or search dog as his nose is impeccable. Please adopt Asher. He is a good dog just has a high prey drive and further training.

Story
"Take me for a car ride!" is Ducky's constant refrain. Who is Ducky? Only the sweetest 2 year old black and white bulldog/pittie mix in foster care! Ducky is 65 pounds of gentle, sweet, loving goof. Good with other dogs? Check! Ducky is completely non-reactive to dogs. When he’s out in the yard with the resident golden retriever, they sniff each other, and then they stand next to each other and enjoy the fresh air. When a pittie friend of the family comes for a playdate, he humps Ducky, obsessively, and Ducky just stands there. When the resident puppy was running around, trying to get Ducky to play with her, play bowing from different angles, Ducky just stood there unsure of what the next step was. In short Ducky is very chill. His foster parents report he doesn’t really understand how to play with toys yet but is trying. No toys doesn't stop Ducky from loving bathtime. Other things Ducky loves? People!! Every new person is his best friend. Car rides! Ducky is an outstanding roadtrip companion. He sits quietly in the backseat and looks out the window. You!!! :D Ducky is house trained, crate trained (especially for a cookie!), and working on learning leash manners. He is very strong, and doesn't know his own strength. His adopter will need to work with a trainer to help him learn to walk easily on a leash. Due to Ducky's size and strength his foster mom recommends kids older than 10 who won't be as easily knocked over by the 65 pounds of love. Ducky's love of life does not extend to the felines in his foster home. If you are interested in finding out more about Ducky, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://bit.ly/2JnZqK5 Ducky is being fostered in Framingham. The adoption fee is $300. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.

Story
Meet adorable Mickey! This big, 8 month old boy is already 66lbs and is looking for adopters who can help him with the training and structure all puppies need to grow up to be great dogs. Mickey is a sweet and curious puppy who can't wait for a home of his own. Mickey may be able to live with other dogs who play gently, but they would have to meet first. If Mickey's adopters have children, they should be older and have spent time with dogs previously, as we have no history of him living with little ones. If you are interested in meeting Mickey please visit our website at worcesterarl.org and click on his picture to fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry. That is the first step toward adoption. All adoptions are by appointment, thank you!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pibbles was a stray dog that had been spotted by some locals.  She was shy and was unsure if she wanted to be took in or not.  It was the middle of January and it was very cold.  She came in very underweight and scared.  After some good food and care she became healthy, and is now ready for a forever home.  She loves playing with Wallace and they are scene running in and out of their house playing and barking. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 1, 2023, 6:30 pm
