Story
**Twinkie is in a foster home and not at the shelter** Hey there, I'm Twinkie! No, not the sweet treat, but I'm just as delightful. I'm playful, goofy, and curious. I might stumble around a bit, but that's just part of my charm. I have done fabulous with potty and crate training. I’ve even been left alone uncrated for about 3 hours with no issues too. My foster mom say she misses me too much to leave me any longer. I'm quite the chatterbox, always ready to share my thoughts. If you've had a long day, don't worry, you won’t have to say a word with me around. Everyday is an adventure with me. My foster mom says I am such a sponge taking so many new things in and I’m doing really great. I do enjoy car rides but I would love a little nudge to help me get into the car. My favorite game is playing fetch. Have two toys ready and we can keep the game going for a little while until it’s nap time. My foster mom says the cutest thing I do is chew/suck on my blankie. I tend to do that when I am tired or needing to self sooth. She says it reminds her of a toddler sucking his thumb. I really like other dogs a lot! When I am around other dogs I do tire out very fast and exhaustion sets in quickly. Honestly as much as I love them I think I would be best as the only dog in the household. I’m looking for a home that can provide me with stability and guidance as well as love and praise. A daily structured routine would be awesome for me so I’m not always guessing what will be next. I’m a creature of habit for sure! So I’m thinking everyone in the home should be teenagers or older so we can all establish our household routines together. I'm ready to fill your life with laughter and lots of tail wags. Adopt me and let's make our own fun-filled adventures together! Apply at k9stray.com and my friends at k9 will be in touch.

Story
This gorgeous, big chocolatey head is so kissable! Hershel is estimated to be about 2 years old and he is 55 pounds of love. Hershel is a sensitive, attentive, and playful sweetie who can’t wait to be a part of a loving family. He just craves affection and loves to lean into you, what a snuggle bug. He is very engaged with you and can be a bit goofy too, which is the best! Hershel really likes soft toys and releases them with a soft mouth, good boy. With a playful and sometimes jumpy personality, Hershel will need his future owners to help build his confidence and teach him basic manners. He will need a leader who he can rely on. If you're looking for a very loving dog with a big heart, Hershel is the one for you! He will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Hershel would love to meet them. He has an excited approach with other dogs that moves into “all in” play. He also “checks in” with you, seeking direction. If you are interested in Hershel and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you. *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats*

Story
Let's talk about Ethel! Beautiful Ethel is a one of a kind personality. She is picky about her friends but when she likes you, she LOVES you, and she let's you know it. She will 100% steal your heart when she gently places her paw in your hand. If you put it down, she will just give it back and look at you with the most loving eyes you have ever seen. Then you know, you are her chosen friend for life. Ethel was found as a stray in horrible shape. She has clearly been through a lot but that in no way has stopped her from thriving and being the sweetest girl. Her glow up has made her almost unrecognizable to those that saw her when she first was found. Ethel is guessed to be around 3 years old. Ethel will need to be the only dog and we do not recommend small children for her forever family. Cats are unknown. Ethels new family would most likely need to be female only. Yes, this is very specific but she seems to not love men, which could be due to past trauma. Specific, but we know her forever Momma is out there. She will need a loving home that adores her as much as we do. Patience and meeting her where she is at will be important as everything will be new, but she is so eager for her own family. Can that be you?
