Story
King is a very loving dog. He sleeps most of the day so he’s good for the working family. During the evening he love to play. He loves toys and he loves going for walks. He’s a little over a year old so he still gets that puppy excitement. He’s great with kids and other animals. He is such a lover we are just too bisy now to give him the attention he deserves.

Story
Say hello to Cookie Crumble. This little lady is as sweet as her name suggests and she is on the lookout for a forever home to call her own. Cookie Crumble struggled to adjust to the hustle and bustle of shelter life, she is looking for a patient and quiet family who will take things slow with her. Once comfortable with you, Cookie is sure to become your new best friend. She enjoys light play with toys, cuddling up for some pets, and going for a walk around the neighborhood. She tended to be a little nervous and avoidant when meeting dogs here at the shelter and may prefer to start her life as the only dog in the home. Does Cookie Crumble sound like the girl for you? Come in and meet her today!Cookie Crumble's ideal home:- Children 8 years and older, must meet. May prefer an adult only home.- Must meet dogs, may prefer to start her life as the only dog

Story
Hey everyone! Sassy senior Midge here from GLDR! I'm an eight-year-old bulldog/terrier mix who is eager to be part of your family! Don't let my age fool you. I'm a spunky lady who is ready for any adventure that comes my way! I had a chance to spend a few days away from the kennel and had a blast! Sadly, I'm back at the kennel now which is the last place I want to be. Please consider opening your heart to me and I'll be the best friend you could ever ask for! While away, I stayed with my foster parents and their three pups. Looking for a fur sibling for your family fur baby? I could be the gal you've been searching for! I loved wrestling with my fur brother and have a rough play style, so dogs my size are best for me. Though I do enjoy my meals, I like to take my time and savor my food. I am a lady after all! My foster mom was able to take my food away with no issue. When it's time for treats, I need a little prompting, but will sit nicely and flash you my dazzling smile for a tempting treat which I take very gently. Unless of course we're talking about ice cream and in that case, there's no stopping me-lol! I am quite the curious gal and love to explore. Whether it's walking around the sub meeting new folks along the way or just exploring my home surroundings, I love to be on the move. I love riding in the car and prefer to be up front as your copilot. I may be a senior dog, but I sure don't act like it! I've had a chance to meet the neighbors and boy did I love the attention. I even got to meet some children and was on my best behavior. My foster family was very impressed! My foster parents call me Midge or "Midgey and I respond to both. I always want to be where you are so a family that has time to devote to hanging with me would be a dream come true. My foster mom works from home so I sat nearby and looked out the window while I kept her company. I don't seem too interested in toys at the moment, though that may change. After a fun-filled day, I usually take a bit to unwind and settle once I'm in my crate for the night. Once settled, I slept well through the night. When it comes to my forever home, I'd do well in an active home where I will be exercised on a daily basis. A yard for me to enjoy is a must! I'd do well with adults and families with kids ages eight and up. A cat-free home is best for me. I will need some time to decompress and relax, so please be patient with me! I promise I'm worth the wait! If you have a family fur baby you'd like me to meet, I'm game anytime. If I sound like the pup for you, head to greatlakesdogrescue.com today and fill out an application! My friends at GLDR will be in touch soon!

Story
COMING SOON - NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTIONWhere's Waldo? Snuggled with my people, that's where! I may look like a big tough guy, but foster mom says I'm a real sweetie pie. I don't initially like going into my crate, but I do settle down after a few minutes and FM is working on making it a real positive experience for me. Other than that, FM says I don't make a peep - I guess I'm the strong and silent type? I'm pretty perfectly playful too - speaking of playtime, gotta go!
