Story
Buddy is a large, loving bulldog mix who is all about his people. He adores snuggles and wants to be right next to you, watching what you are doing and ready to be part of it. He would do best as the only animal in the home so he can soak up all the attention he truly thrives on. Buddy loves being dressed up, going for coffee drives, and enjoying walks. He is the kind of dog who just wants to be included in everyday life and treated like a true family member. After coming from a difficult situation, Buddy has made incredible progress and is so ready for a fresh start. He is very gentle with children and has done wonderfully with kids ranging from about 17 months to 11 years old. Tiny humans are absolutely welcome in Buddy’s ideal home. Important to note, Buddy must go to a home with absolutely no cats. Buddy is in urgent need of either an adoptive home or a foster home. He has come so far and now just needs someone to step up and give him the stability, love, and commitment he deserves. Adoption fee is $350+tax, please apply at www.campcompanion.org

I tend to keep my circle small until I know you’re the real deal. Earn my trust (and bring treats and a Chuckit ball), and you’ll see I’m all in.Meet Gus – Our drop-dead gorgeous ball enthusiast. He was picked up by St. Paul Animal Control, and his owner was never found. Let’s be real, Gus isn’t a “jump-into-your-arms” kind of guy. He’s more of a slow but steady trust building kind of guy. But give him time, some patience, and a ball (yeah, it’s kind of a big deal), and you’ll unlock a whole new level of loyal. Gus isn’t a starter dog – he’s more of a “hidden gem” seasoned dog owner type dog. But once you’re in his circle of trust, you’re in for life. You’ll get tail wags, silly antics, and unmatched joy of earning the trust of a dog who really needs his person. Gus loves to go on walks but just don’t expect a calm stroll in the park – Gus walks like he’s late for a very important meeting. He’s got places to be and smells to sniff. Loyal, goofy, and a little extra – he is a special boy with a big personality. Gus would thrive in a home that understands that love takes time, but once he’s in, he’s all in. Bonus points if you have a strong leash hand and an endless supply of Chuckit balls! If you are into loyalty and laughs, with a “work-in-progress” dog, who’ll love you almost as much as his ball?
