I’m picking up on potty training quickly when taken out frequently throughout the day, and I am generally quiet in my crate at night—I might whine a little at first because I just want to be next to my person, but once I settle down, my foster mom has been able to sleep through the night. I have also done well with the cats in my foster home. I mostly ignore them. I do like to use my mouth to play, so I need someone who is dedicated to puppy training and providing me with plenty of appropriate things to chew on. We bought Rufus as a pup we love him dearly. He is great with children and is trained. However, we have been in an apartment for 2 years and he is just out of space compared to our previous home. He is not happy and we have no time for him as we have 2 children and we are running a business. He needs room a house or someone who can walk him regularly. Thank you. The Quijada family

Lil' Mac was found as a stray and we haven't stopped smiling since we met him. He is full of energy and personality. He is so funny and sweet. He is a lot of dog in a fairly small package. He loves to play and run and kiss your face! He wiggles and wags with his whole body when he sees a friend! Born in April 2023, Lil' Mac would do well with other animals with a proper introduction and will be fine with kids 6 yrs and older as long as they can take being knocked down and licked! Come and meet Lil' Mac and be ready for fun! All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Don’t get me wrong, I do love everyone of all ages, big and small but if you gave me an option, I’m always gonna roll with the boys. Bubba here, and I am a guy’s guy through and through, so I’d love to have one around my new home. While we’re at it, maybe throw in a companion; a fellow canine would be a great joy to me. I don’t care what kind of dog is in the new place, it’s easy for me to make friends. Although, I do have to say, like the 35 lb adult English Bulldog that I am, I do tend to get a little guarded with my stuff, so some extra toys for sharing and a friendly nudge of a redirect could be of service.  Did I hear you say car ride? Man, I love those! Windows down, tongue out, and wind blowing through my cheeks, that’s the good stuff. While I am playful and very social, don’t misunderstand, I can also kick back and be a total couch potato. I love those lazy days. Except when that thing comes out of the closet. You know what I’m talking about? It makes a lot of strange noise, sucks my leftover treats that fell out of my mouth out of the carpet, and seems to follow me around everywhere I go. OH! A vacuum is what humans call it. That thing will scare the living daylights out of me. One other thing to know, I am on eye drops for my dry eyes. I will need those potentially lifelong. My eyes feel so much better with that and will happily take my drops. Since I'm pretty well trained when it comes to my leash and going potty, I don’t require a fenced yard. I like going on a little walk here and again, especially if I can make new acquaintances along the way. I also don’t mind taking a rest in my kennel here and there, that’s a place that doesn’t bother me. Maybe if I show you my good boy qualities, and sit when you tell me to, you could reward me with a bone, they’re my favorite!
