Story
With his naturally gentle and quiet demeanour, Angus stands out immediately. This midsize American Bulldog mix (about 55 lbs) who was found as a stray has great leash manners, doesn't jump on people, takes treats with the softest mouth possible, and keeps a clean kennel. While our history on Angus is limited, what we've observed of this kindhearted boy is nothing but positve. Angus gets along well with other dogs - maybe not a high-impact player, but very sociable. He enjoys exploring the world around him, stopping to smell every delicious scent his nose leads him to. His tail never stops wagging, and it picks up whenever you speak to him or offer a treat. Angus rides well in the car (although may need some help loading) and is very kid friendly. He's received rave reviews from volunteers who take him on outings. Being a handsome couch ornament is equally as appealing to him as taking a leisurely meander down a trail. What's most important to Angus is sharing space with humans he considers friends. Angus has a funny quirk - he LOVES stealing and shredding paper. Nothing makes him happier than sneaking over to grab paper, dragging it up onto the couch with him, and shredding away. Angus has stolen our hearts. We think he'll steal yours too if you give him the chance.

Story
Hogan is my best friend. He is the most considerate little guy. I got him from a breeder at the age of 13 months. He was born September of 2020. Ive never had trouble with him, but he spooks easily. He takes to women quickly, but keeps his distance apon meeting men. He is very protective, and extremely loyal. He loves to play with other animals. My father has fallen ill and I have home health coming in and out of the house through out the day. The way he is protective of my father frightens the health workers. They see him as a liability. He is misunderstood by folks who arent dog people. He is the best friend Ive got. A amazing snuggler, and a kind soul. I want him to have the best life possible so its important for me to have him where he is safe, and can play with others. Id like him to go to a farm or where he can stretch his little legs, and play with other animals. He is house broken, and will sleep at your feet. He is in good health. I dont want him in a kennel. Thank you

Story
Meet Black Eyed Susan 25C-201 As the human approached her kennel, Black Eyed Susan looked up with a happy, hopeful expression and an animated full body wag that extended all the way to the tip of her question mark tail. When the pair started their bark park adventure, two-year-old Black Eyed Susan stood amazingly still as the colorful scarf was placed caringly around her neck. Black Eyed Susan loves being close to her human and as she performed the usual park tour, she often returned and shared a caring announcement with a gentle touch of her nose. Then the entertainment really started as she discovered the doggy wading pool that she wished was much bigger and deeper as she swished, splashed, swooshed, and whooshed with a froth filled totally joyful abandon, doing her best to extend the wetness to include the enthralled human who happened to be standing way to close, but it was a hot day and well worth the drenching. Black Eyed Susan is a very personable, fun-loving canine who shares her positive spirit with other dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. Join this Rudbeckia hirta in the celebration of life. She is waiting for you at the Humane Society for Animals in Rogers, AR.

He has a playful and friendly personality that will melt your heart as this boy LOVES to cuddle and give kisses. He even has been learning how to sit on command. Despite his large size, Diesel is a big softie! He loves nothing more than cuddling up with people to give them lots of love and affection. He's a loyal and devoted companion who just wants to be loved and taken care of. He does get nervous around other animals so he's looking for a home with no other pets so he can relax and love on his new family. Diesel has already been neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and is up to date on vaccinations! Diesel has been sponsored; this means that he has NO ADOPTION FEE!!

Story
Qira is a sweet Boxer mix that came to Faithful Friends Animal Advocates as a stray in March 2017, when she was 11 months old. After being at FFAA for whopping 3 years, she was finally adopted and had a home of her own for a couple of years before finding herself being abandoned when her family surrendered her to Animal Control. When Faithful Friends received the call that she was there, we gladly took her back, even though our heart was broken for this poor girl. Unfortunately when she came back to us the second time, she was blind in in her left eye, but she doesn’t let that slow her down!If you count the days Qira was here before being adopted (995 days) and the days she has been here since being brought back (855+ days), she has been here for a combined total of 1,850+ days. She has spent over 5 of her 8 years inside of a shelter, and that is FAR too long. She NEEDS and deserves to get out of this stressful shelter environment and finally have the home she has always dreamed of. She loves her stuffed animals and to play tug of war. She also enjoys going for leisurely walks and is always ready to snuggle up on the couch! With the blindness in her left eye, she is occasionally prone to startling easily. Because of this, she would do best in a home without young children. She is not reactive towards other dogs when she is out and about, but she tends to be selective when meeting them up close--she doesn't like excitable, hyperactive dogs to be in her space.
