The photographer had never been with Michelle except for a kind word and a hotdog treat shared from the Humane Society kennel corridor. Her earlier life experiences were given by a human who had no care and no compassion for her and as a result of this treatment, she would be happiest in a home where she is the only dog. But once inside the park, Michelle’s inner nature made itself perfectly clear. Her mistrust and shyness quickly dissipated and her from-the-heart smiles became pristine and non-stop. Michelle loves a soft caress and she looks up with adoring eyes that express her true, appreciative being. Sweet Michelle has a quiet, gentle aptitude toward life, and closely followed the photographer about the park as she shared her thankfulness and adoration with a human who gave her a soft, caring touch. She usually moved slowly about the park but as the photographer walked to the opposite end to compose the bio, surprisingly, Michelle kept up with his purposeful steps. If you treat her with kindness and understanding, she will share the best of herself with you. The Beatles said it best: Michelle, ma belie Sont des mots qui vont très bien ensemble Très bien ensemble These are words that go together well I will say the only words I know that you'll understand You are my beautiful one my Michelle.

Meet Black Eyed Susan 25C-201 As the human approached her kennel, Black Eyed Susan looked up with a happy, hopeful expression and an animated full body wag that extended all the way to the tip of her question mark tail. When the pair started their bark park adventure, two-year-old Black Eyed Susan stood amazingly still as the colorful scarf was placed caringly around her neck. Black Eyed Susan loves being close to her human and as she performed the usual park tour, she often returned and shared a caring announcement with a gentle touch of her nose. Then the entertainment really started as she discovered the doggy wading pool that she wished was much bigger and deeper as she swished, splashed, swooshed, and whooshed with a froth filled totally joyful abandon, doing her best to extend the wetness to include the enthralled human who happened to be standing way to close, but it was a hot day and well worth the drenching. Black Eyed Susan is a very personable, fun-loving canine who shares her positive spirit with other dogs of all shapes, sizes and breeds. Join this Rudbeckia hirta in the celebration of life. Qira is a senior boxer mix, almost 10 years old, and she has spent most of her life — about seven years — growing up in a shelter. Because of that, she isn’t a dog who gives her heart to everyone right away… but when she chooses you, she chooses you completely.Qira bonds slowly and thoughtfully. She is selective with new people and needs time to feel safe, especially with strangers. Once trust is built, though, she is deeply affectionate and devoted. When she loves you, she wants to be close — lying quietly beside you, checking in often, and occasionally nudging under your arm to politely demand attention.Despite her age, Qira still has joyful puppy moments. She loves the snow, runs and plays outside, and will happily chase shadows (possibly thanks to being blind in one eye). On playful days, she’ll even chase your shadow if you move around with her.
