Story
Ace has a bite history and specific needs. Ace is also so much more than that. If you think you can give him a chance, please read on. This big hunk is Ace, a 5 year old American Bulldog mix. Ace is a genuinely friendly guy, who loves people. He knows basic commands and is mostly housebroken. He also walks well on the leash. Ace loves treats and toys, but he is a heavy chewer and would need tough toys. While Ace is well mannered and a very good boy, he does have one specific need. He must be crated when he is sleeping. He CANNOT be touched while he is asleep. We have no way of knowing what happened in his past to make him have such a startled reaction to being awoken by touch, but this behavior is manageable. He is a very loving and easy going when he is awake. Ace would do best in a home without other animals and we will not place him with children. If you can provide Ace with a loving home and the tools for success, applications can be filled out online at https://www.griffinpondanimalshelter.com/adopt

Story
Rocky is a total love bug. He is close to 5 years old and a lean 45 lbs and was taken from a terrible situation with Ashley and a few others. He is doing really well now and is friendly and social and very handsome - better photos to come. This little tank would do great with another dog (he loves Ashley) and a fenced yard. Experience helps a lot as well. Truly a great companion, in need of a great home. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)  July 26, 2024, 1:08 pm

Story
Ashley is the sweetest little lowrider. She is 3 years old and a thin 37 lbs. She is timid and nervous in new situations, but does come out of her shell - especially when around her buddy, Rocky. They and others were taken as a cruelty case, for not being cared for by owner. She is doing so much better now and is really coming out of her shell. Terrible photo - will have better ones soon, for this adorable girl. A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure. Ashley would do best with another sweet and gentle dog and a fenced yard.  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. Story
Kimber came to us with her ten puppies. Kimber was a great mama to those 10 puppies. Their first birthday has come and gone and they are all in furever homes. Sadly, mama Kimber after several yrs, is still waiting for hers . She would simply thrive in an active, breed savvy home. With proper introduction she's good with other dogs and has a mild prey drive, so she could probably be taught to live with cats. Kimber really adores the outdoors, hiking, water, camping would be great for her. We do, however, recommend any children in the family be over 13. Don't miss out on this wonderful gal! Apply for consideration to adopt at www.rdrne.org. You must be at least 25 years of age, live within a 5-hour driving radius of Thompson PA. We check veterinary references and require all pets within the home to be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and maintained on heartworm and flea & tick preventatives. ##1195280##

Story
Woof! I’m Greta, the undisputed Queen of a puppy trio! Yep, Gabby and Galen are my siblings.  I’m a young puppy bundle of energy and snuggles. I may have had a ruff start, but thanks to my rescue, I’m all about belly rubs and playtime. My favorite hobbies include chasing my tail, cuddling with my humans, and convincing everyone I’m the cutest (which I am, of course). Adopt me, and I promise to fill your life with endless love and laughter!  Apply for consideration to adopt at www.rdrne.org.
