He’s the perfect match for an active family looking for a fun-loving, kid-friendly companion who thrives on adventure and connection. Pugsley is the ideal blend of playful enthusiasm and affectionate sweetness. He loves to run, play, and explore—whether he’s romping in the yard, joining you for long walks, or splashing in the water, one of his all-time favorite activities. He walks beautifully on a leash and brings enthusiasm to every outing, making him a wonderful walking or hiking buddy. At home, Pugsley is a delightful goofball. He’ll do an “alligator chomp” in the air to get your attention, spook himself with a trash bag blowing across the yard, or curl up next to you in the funniest positions. He is good with dogs of all sizes and enjoys having canine companions to play and relax with. Pugsley is incredibly loving and people-oriented. He’s fantastic with kids of all ages and quickly becomes a family favorite. He crates easily when no one is home and does best in a household with a yard and, ideally, another dog buddy. He would love to have a family that is home alot if he is the only dog. He is also cat friendly but may try to play with them. Pugsley is currently being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX. He gets anxious with car rides so he is available in Texas only. He loves sleeping in a bed with his family and sleeps soundly through the night. His quirks—like sleeping with his tongue sticking out and snoring softly—only make him more endearing. Please contact Adoptions (adoptions@thalppc.com) for more information about this pet. Jedi is a 10 year old American Bulldog mix boy that weighs 55 pounds. He rescued from Walker County shelter with some other dogs and kittens due to overcrowding. He is the absolute sweetest most docile man who has the cutest little snore when he sleeps. As a senior he does not have many teeth left. He also tested positive for Heartworms and will be undergoing treatment starting in March. We are grateful we get to help him on the road to being cured and to finding a home. Jedi is super chill and is happiest when he can snuggle next to you. He will often lay his head on your knee if you are sitting at the front desk and look at you with his sweet puppy dog eyes.
