Ginger shines when out and about, walks beautifully on a leash, and is an attentive listener! She was born into our rescue and adopted as a puppy; unfortunately, her mom passed away, and family members tried to keep Ginger, but there were issues with another dog in the home and Ginger, and it felt other arrangements needed to be made. She is potty trained and crate trained. She came to us with an injury to her throat. When she gets excited, she has a little wheeze. It doesn’t hurt her though! She is great with other calm dogs and amazing with children. She would make an excellent companion for someone that would rather watch Netflix than hike the Appalachian Trail. Meet Iris! 🌸 Iris is a 2-year-old American Bulldog who has been with us since August 2025. Her past was far from fair—she was kept on a chain outside and bred over and over. Thankfully, she was surrendered to rescue, and her life has finally taken a turn for the better. Iris is now fully vetted and will never be bred again. She's currently on treatment for heartworm after testing positive, but is doing great. From here on out, it’s nothing but love, comfort, and the happy life she deserves. This beautiful white American Bulldog is as sweet as they come. She absolutely adores people and greets everyone with her precious smile. Iris is playful, affectionate, and would love nothing more than to be part of a family who lets her live indoors, snuggle on the couch, and finally know what it feels like to be truly cherished.
