Story
Talia was rescued from a property along with her three puppies when neighbors noticed the structure protecting them had collapsed. The owner relinquished them to us when the pups were about 6 weeks old. The has been a fantastic first time mom to her three and adopting the other puppies in the rescue as well. She is a gentle spirit who is looking for a bit of adventure, but really just wants a person to call her own. She was very quick to train due to her food motivation and eagerness to please. She is a playful, yet controlled, teacher. Due to the fact she was left to forage for food before coming to us, we recommend no small animals unless it's an experiences home who can patiently take the time to do so.

Ready to meet your new best friend who is equal parts muscle and mush? Izzy is a velvet coated sweetheart who believes every stranger is just a best friend she hasn’t kissed yet! Watch Izzy’s video to see her signature "lean" in action and discover why this professional relaxer is the perfect addition to your home! https://youtu.be/oSLXPJEaL9M Izzy is the kind of girl who walks into a room and instantly makes it better with her big, gummy smile and wagging tail. She is a total people person who radiates affection and thrives on being exactly where the action is. Whether she's helping you in the kitchen or curling up for a movie marathon, Izzy is a dedicated companion who just wants to be part of your inner circle. She is the perfect blend of "Let’s Go!" and "Let’s Snuggle." She’s got a little bit of rowdy in her step, a lot of "pitty pop" in her jumps, and a tail that wagged so hard it might actually be responsible for local wind gusts. Izzy is a true hang out dog content to chill right by your side, soaking up all the love you have to give. While we think Izzy is a stunning American Bully mix, she’s a compact powerhouse weighing in at a solid 58 pounds. She’s that perfect medium plus size sturdy enough for big adventures, but just the right size to hog the couch without taking up the whole thing. Like all rescue superstars, her exact breed is a bit of a mystery, but her 100% Good Girl status is totally confirmed! Izzy is currently living the good life in a foster home and proving she’s a total family girl! She is kid friendly and loves the energy of a bustling household. If the neighborhood kids are outside playing, Izzy is right there in the middle of the huddle. She’s basically the neighborhood’s honorary dog! She is remarkably cat and kitten friendly and understands the art of peaceful co existence. Izzy’s got a big heart for tiny paws and a specialized talent for synchronized snoring with her kitty coworkers. If you’re looking for a dog who is ready to jump into your daily routine with a wagging tail, Izzy is your girl. Izzy has officially earned her Perfect Houseguest certificate. • Crate Trained? Check. She’s a professional napper. • Car Ready? Double check. She’ll be in the passenger seat before you can find your keys. • Routine Queen: Whether it’s school drop-offs or weekend chores, Izzy is just happy to be included. When it comes to other pups, Izzy is about to become their new favorite person. She is playful and social. She truly enjoys making friends, loves friendly wrestling, chase games, and shared zoomie moments. Don’t let her athletic rowdy play style fool you when it’s time to settle down, Izzy is a total cuddle bug. She is remarkably soft and sweet, proving she has a big heart for her tiny friends. Although her play style can be enthusiastic, she’d do best paired with a medium energy dog who enjoys playtime but can also help keep things balanced. How does she feel about felines? Izzy is currently coexisting in her foster home with cats and is doing great! She’s cat tolerant and friendly, but she can be a little over excited when she wants to play. Because she comes on a bit strong she’d do best with a dog savvy cat who knows how to handle an enthusiastic pup. Izzy’s dream home is one where she can get plenty of love! She is ready to apply for the position of your new best friend. She is a master of balance, part zoomie enthusiast, part Olympic level relaxer. Whether she has a big backyard or a cozy apartment, Izzy is a versatile girl who adapts to any space. One of the cutest things about her? She has a unique way of showing she cares. If you stop moving for more than a few seconds, expect 58 pounds of pure affection to gently press against your legs. It’s her way of giving a standing hug! Story
Meet Starlight — a big squishy stuffed-animal collector trapped inside the body of an American Bully mix. ✨ At around 5 years old, Starlight has officially decided that stuffies are EVERYTHING. The moment she walked into the house and spotted a box of plush toys, this girl immediately stopped what she was doing to go shopping. No hesitation. She carefully picked out her favorite toy, proudly carried it around the room, tossed it up in the air for herself, chewed on it happily, and honestly acted like a little kid at Build-A-Bear. Watching her with toys is genuinely adorable because she takes her collection VERY seriously. And honestly? Starlight is kind of iconic for it. This is not the type of dog who needs constant attention, nonstop cuddles, or somebody entertaining her every second of the day. Starlight is an independent queen. She’s happiest just peacefully existing in her space, carrying around a toy, lounging in a comfy spot, and doing her own thing while her people simply let her be herself. That doesn’t mean she isn’t sweet — because she absolutely is. She has the cutest giant smile and this soft squishy face that makes you want to kiss her forehead immediately. She just prefers relationships that move slowly and respectfully. She’s the kind of dog who appreciates calm energy, patience, and people who understand that trust doesn’t have to be loud to be meaningful. Watch Star Light's video, then come back to read more! https://youtu.be/LwvMRDxUDEA?si=y0x5oTK3pXEDklII Because Starlight is naturally cautious and still learning that the world is safe, she’ll need a calm, experienced, dog-savvy home that will let her settle in at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable though, she really just wants a peaceful little life: A soft bed. A backyard to wander around tossing her toys in the air. A comfy couch. Her emotional support stuffies. And humans who love her exactly as she is. With other dogs, Starlight is definitely more of a “quiet roommate” type than a social butterfly. During a recent visit with us away from her foster home, she mostly kept to herself, carried her toys around proudly, and focused more on finding cozy little spaces than interacting with the new people and other pups. She wasn’t interested in playing or joining the dog party — honestly, she seemed much more content simply existing nearby and doing her own thing. She did best around calm, respectful dogs who gave her space and didn’t put pressure on her to interact. When dogs approached her, she tolerated them well as long as they stayed easygoing and carefree, but she clearly preferred peaceful coexistence over active friendship. Her perfect dog sibling would basically be another independent little soul who’s happy to share a home, nap in the same room, and mind their own business together like two introverted roommates. But let's be honest, Star Light would prefer being your one and only gal. She’s just a girl who loves her personal space. If she went to a home with another dog, her ideal match would be a super mellow, easygoing dog who’s happy simply existing nearby without trying to wrestle, play constantly, or overwhelm her. She’s not looking for chaos — she’s looking for peaceful company. Starlight also appreciates people who understand and respect her boundaries. She’s made really lovely progress already and showed she’s trying hard to communicate appropriately when she feels unsure. She simply needs humans who will listen to her body language, move slowly with her, and let trust build naturally instead of forcing interactions before she’s ready. Because of that, no kids for Miss Starlight, and no cats either — they’re just a little too exciting for her. A quieter home with a predictable routine and a yard would likely help her feel safest and most comfortable. Apartment life would probably feel a little too busy and overstimulating for her personality. There is something really special about dogs like Starlight. She’s not trying to be the center of attention. She’s not asking to go everywhere or meet everybody. She’s an independent soul looking for somebody who understands that love can look like peacefully sharing space together. Some dogs want to be attached to your hip every second of the day. Starlight just wants to vibe nearby with her emotional support stuffed animals and know she’s safe. 💛 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Black-and-white heartthrob with a show-stopping set of ears, toy enthusiast, and full-body, goofy wiggle machine… this is Wishbone! Equal parts athlete and goofball, he’s the kind of dog who can easily turn a boring day into a fun-filled adventure. He’s bright, attentive, and so ready to learn that “trainer’s dream” feels less like a compliment and more like a preview of what’s coming next. Before you fall too hard, go catch him in motion on YouTube… then come right back for the details on this high-flying, toy-adoring superstar in the making. https://youtu.be/jyx84WRpYgU?si=DHm8SyAkjM6YQHZN Wishbone is estimated to be just over a year old and appears to be a Pittie/American bully mix, though as always with rescue, breed and birthday are our best guess. What matters here is that he is the perfect size. Beefcake in spirit but not in form- he is built like a true athlete and would be the envy of any gym if he were a person. He is 40, full-grown pounds are barely takes up a full cushion on the couch. No extra space needed because he can scooch right in without anyone even having to scoot over. What does Wishbone Love? Well… zoomin’ in the sunshine and then laying in the shade. Give him a chance to stretch his legs, show off with that initial zoomie, and then you promptly get a dog who wants to roll around in the grass with his belly to the sky. The energy melts into a dog who can settle, hang out, and take in the world around him. He’s not looking to be glued to your side every second. He’s confident, self-assured, and perfectly content entertaining himself with a toy… as long as you keep the toy supply well stocked and the snack budget approved. Speaking of toys… this boy is all in. Toss it, bounce it, squeak it, launch it… he’s ready. If you’ve ever dreamed of a running partner, a dream training buddy, or a future flyball all-star, Wishbone is already halfway to the starting line just waiting for his person to say “go.” He is a big personality with a playful style to match, which means he’ll thrive with an owner who enjoys structure, consistency, and channeling that enthusiasm into something fun and rewarding. He’s smart, eager, and full of potential… the kind of dog who makes training feel less like work and more like a shared hobby. With other dogs, Wishbone brings a party-ready play style. He does best with dogs who enjoy that same rough-and-rowdy energy and can match his enthusiasm. Think confident, playful companions who won’t be overwhelmed by his fun-loving nature. At home, he’s learning the art of balance. He’s already shown that once his energy is out, he can settle, and with continued guidance, routine, and outlets for both his brain and body, that off-switch only gets better and better. He’s the kind of dog who just needs a clear roadmap… and then he’s off, happily following it. Wishbone is best suited for a home that can give him space to move, play, and thrive, along with the kind of leadership that helps him continue to grow into the incredible dog he’s clearly meant to be. If you’ve been looking for a dog who brings energy, personality, humor, and a whole lot of potential to the table… Wishbone is ready to stick by your side. Otis feels like the kind of dog you get as a karmic gift for all the goodness you have given. He feels earned! He is deeply, deeply sensitive and thrives from connection.Simply, he is a heart-to-heart dog. The kind of dog who notices, is intuitive, and cares in a way that almost feels too good to be true for a dog. Go watch Otis Underbite on YouTube, then come right back to read more about this thoughtful blue boy with the perfect little underbite and the even sweeter heart behind it. https://youtu.be/DTybE-klqhU Otis is estimated to be around 3 years old and weighs 57 lbs. Rescue rules apply, so breed and age are our best guess, but we suspect some pittie/staffie type goodness in the mix. What we know for certain is that he is absolutely gorgeous, wonderfully mannered in the home, intuitive and happiest living a quiet, steady kind of life. His intuitive nature comes with a certain, intentional caution, like he is guarding his gentle heart. But once he decides you are safe? You can watch that caution leave his body. Underneath is an incredibly gentle, loyal, soft-hearted dog who loves deeply and quietly. He is currently fostered in a loving home where his foster absolutely adores him, and honestly, it makes sense within minutes of meeting him. Otis is house trained, crate trained, easy to live with, and settles beautifully indoors. He loves toys, enjoys car rides, and lights up for walktime. His leash manners are lovely too. He walks at an easy pace and prefers peaceful strolls over chaotic adventures. While he can navigate busier parks or neighborhoods, he prefers calmer environments and predictable routines. This is not a dog looking to host the neighborhood barbecue. He is more of a “quiet morning coffee on the porch” kind of soul. When meeting new people, especially men, Otis needs a little time and thoughtful introductions. He can initially become overwhelmed or shut down if too much attention or handling is placed on him too quickly. What stood out when we first met was not aggression or volatility, but sensitivity. Otis communicates discomfort by giving himself space, shying away from the uncertainty, but it mush be said just how gentle he remained even while stressed. He is not confrontational. He is careful. And honestly? Once you understand that about him, he makes a lot of sense. Otis bonds hard to his people. His foster shared that he is incredibly loving at home, playful with toys, affectionate, and deeply loyal. He simply needs relationship-building and patience before that side emerges. He is very much a slow-burn dog. Not the kind that walks into a room acting like everyone is his best friend five minutes later. He notices who makes him feel safe, who listens to him, who gives him room to breathe, and then slowly, steadily, he opens up. With other dogs, Otis is more aloof than social. He is not looking for rowdy dog park energy or constant wrestling matches. He tends to avoid pressure from pushy dogs and has shown himself to be submissive and gentle in interactions. His foster mentioned he tends to prefer calm, confident female dogs, which tracks with his overall softer personality. He coexists very respectfully, waits patiently for treats, and does not create conflict around food or toys. One of the sweetest moments from the afternoon we spent with him was watching him meet our house cat. He was gentle, calm, quietly curious, and very relaxed. The team felt very positively about his cat interactions, and we can see so many qualities that would allow him to live peacefully with calm or dog-savvy cats. Otis would thrive most in a home that appreciates sensitive dogs for exactly who they are. A home that does not expect instant confidence, forced socialization, or a “go everywhere and meet everyone” lifestyle. In return, you are getting a deeply loyal companion with lovely house manners, a gentle heart, soulful eyes, and one of the cutest underbites you have ever seen. Some dogs are fireworks. Otis is candlelight. Quiet, steady, comforting, and easy to stay close to once you understand how special he is. Ready to make the first move?
