Story
Remi, oh man, where do I even start? This girl is the cutest land seal you’ve ever seen! At just one year old and 60 pounds of pure love, she's a couch hippo and toy enthusiast all wrapped up into one loyal girl. First off, let's talk behavior. Remi is an incredibly loyal girl. If you pay attention to her she is by your side with a toy in her mouth. And get this – she's not just good with humans; she's good with small and big dogs. Remi can hang out in a room with other dogs but prefers her humans over anything. Watch her here: https://youtu.be/Jvs6NWTXlRQ Now let's talk personality. She's got this sweet, gentle vibe that just melts your heart on contact! Remi does well with praise and wants to please you. She knows basic commands like sit and stay. She is easy on leash and the perfect compact size to take anywhere. Remi doesn’t mind strangers which makes her easy for city living too. She walks right past other people and dogs quietly and calmly with a loose leash. Last but not least, Remi’s basically the perfect fit for any loving home out there. Whether you're a singleton looking for a loyal companion or a big family with a bustling household, she's ready to snuggle right in and become your new best friend. We think Remi would do best with older kids as she has such a love for her toys. She would need a home that would spoil her with keeping that toy basket full. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Meet Booger, a three-year-old American Bulldog-Dogo Argentino mix with a heart full of love and an old soul. Despite his young age, Booger embodies the gentle, slow-paced energy of an old man, making him the perfect companion for those who appreciate a relaxed and loving furry friend. Booger is the very defiition of a "good ol' boy". Booger's calm and composed demeanor is matched by his excellent crate manners. In fact, when he and his much more active little sister, Princess Buttercup, were first found, Booger shared a crate with her without any complaints. His patience and easy-going nature are truly remarkable. Booger is incredibly loyal and thrives on being close to his humans. Whether he's lying at your feet or sitting by your side, he finds happiness in simply being with you. He's the perfect best friend for someone. Booger is looking for a chill, quiet home where he can spend his days showering his family with love. This sweet boy has a few endearing "old man" bumps, but they've shown no signs of regrowth, and we feel confident about his long, happy future. Like any dog, we can't predict every aspect of his health, but Booger's loving spirit and soulful eyes promise a lifetime of companionship and joy. If you're seeking a devoted, mellow companion who will bring peace and affection into your life, Booger is the best boy for you. Give this gentle soul a chance, and he'll fill your home with warmth and unwavering loyalty. Meet Buster Rose! 🌹 Buster Rose is an approximately 2-year-old bulldog mix, and he's bursting at the seams with love and affection. Buster is guaranteed to bring a smile to anyone’s face—he’s just the happiest dog ever and can’t wait to share his joy with you. 🐶💕 This playful pup loves to put his paw on your arm for affection, a sweet reminder of how grateful he is for you! Buster is very bouncy when he plays, and he doesn't quite know his own size. While this sweetheart loves children, he may do better in a home with older kids who can match his playful energy. 🐾 Buster adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with another dog or with a family that has an active lifestyle. He will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to keep him happy. 🏃‍♂️🐕 Being young, Buster will need a family committed to his ongoing training and socialization. He's new to home life and is still learning what it’s like to be part of a family. However, he’s making great progress with his crate training and leash training in his foster home. Buster is very smart and learns quickly. 🎓 If you're looking for a joyful, affectionate, and playful companion, Buster Rose is the perfect match for you. Come meet him and let him share his boundless happiness with your family! 🌟 Ready to add a burst of joy to your life? Story
🐾 Meet Maralyn! 🐾 Hello! I'm Maralyn, a five-year-old, fifty-one-pound Pitt mix bursting with love and joy. My gentle nature shines through in every interaction. I never bark or growl at visitors and harmoniously coexist with the two resident pugs in my foster home. My obedience and eagerness for affection make me a delightful companion. My sweet and loving disposition will bring my future adoptive family immense joy. I was found on a busy freeway with a significant leg injury in December, but after surgery and lots of therapy, I have made a full recovery thanks to my amazing foster family. I've quickly become known for my exceptional behavior and affectionate nature. Despite not being a morning pup, my bubbly personality shines through from dawn till dusk. I greet each day with a wagging tail and a gentle nuzzle, ready to embrace the adventures ahead. My easygoing demeanor makes me a beloved companion among humans and fellow pups. My days are filled with joyous romps in the park, where I effortlessly charm every dog I meet with my friendly disposition. I'm particularly fond of children and often spend hours playing gently with them and showering them with affectionate licks. When it comes to mealtime, I'm a creature of habit, contentedly enjoying my breakfast and dinner each day. But it's during my post-meal belly rub sessions that I am genuinely in bliss, my tail wagging furiously as I soak up the love and attention. Despite my playful nature, I'm remarkably intelligent and attentive. I'm always eager to learn new tricks and listen intently to my humans. Whether fetching a ball or simply lending a sympathetic ear, my loyalty and devotion know no bounds. Are you ready to welcome a bundle of love and joy? Choose me, and let's start our journey of friendship and fun together! 🐾❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/658dc1ed0fed31418200f3a1 Please email evanh@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
Julia is one of the larger puppies in this litter, and possibly has the biggest heart. You can tell that this gentle, sweet soul will grow into a good size – she will be perfect for all sorts of adventures with you and have no problems keeping up. Gentle Julia is surprisingly delicate for her size; she’s actually quite deliberately dainty, and we love just watching her romp and play. Julia watches everything closely, and is quite playful and social. She adores a good belly rub and will catch your eye and roll over, just in case you were thinking about giving her one. (You definitely will – she’s irresistible!) Julia is mostly light brown and white, with dark ‘eyebrows’ that allow her to give you the most plaintive looks (here’s where the begging for belly rubs really kicks in). Her body is brown with white accents – all four legs have adorable knee-high white ‘boots’. Her tail is brown, except for the very tip, which is a white blur because this happy girl is always wagging her tail. Julia has a thick white stripe on her head blending into a white snout, neck, and belly. If you can resist her cheerful attitude and the cute little freckles on her belly, you are stronger-willed than us! You are sure to be entertained by all of Julia’s classic puppy antics. She loves to jump, roll, and play with all eight (8!) of her siblings and would do well in a house with other dogs, or as the sole star of your attention. This litter was born in care, and Julia is one of the six girls of this litter (that also has three boys). Julia is currently just 3 months old and 16 pounds, and we think she may be a Black Mouth Cur/Boxer mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Julia is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
