Story
“Oh my, sweet Keely pie” is what you’ll be saying when you experience the joy of meeting our Keely girl! Keely is one of the most gentle souls I’ve ever met! She’s a dog’s dog. A girl’s girl. A man’s best friend. She really is just the whole package. And look at her cutie block head. I mean, c’mon! Just like her personality, the video of Keely shows the essence of who she is, a calm and gentle sweetie who is just happy that she has you to be around. Peep the video and come back to read the overview of this precious pup. https://youtu.be/r_-EczMnN-Q Keely is a beautiful slate gray pittie mix weighing in at 68 pounds! We believe she may be around 5 years old. But given she is a rescue we cannot guarantee breed or age. She has the cutest little patchwork spots of white throughout her coat and complimentary socks to match. Also check out the top left of her neck! She has her own personal accessory patch! Oh Keely, where do I start with this girl?! Im going to go into an in depth discussion of our most recent doggy date, but for my skimmers, here are her highlights. She is an amazing travel buddy, patient around kids, dogs and cats, mindful in stores, great on a leash, a respectful dinner guest. She is just lovely! I highly recommend you keep reading about her! During our doggy date, she respected all of the boundaries I set before her. While we were exploring the hardware store, she stayed close to my side. She was not hesitant to walk through each hallway filled with gadgets and gizmos. She was unfazed by automatic doors and the buzz of focused workers. She’s a great shopping partner! At the pet boutique, she admired each item, only sniffing around while leaving everything in its designated place. You can see her in the video being very mindful of things that didn’t belong to her. She even left the treats on the bottom shelf alone! Do you live in a busier area? Keely won’t mind at all! She was not phased by the sounds of the buzzing Main Street during our ice cream shop hop! Because of this, we believe she will do great in a city environment or a suburb! There’s actually no environment she wouldn’t thrive in. Keely is just here for a good time! Do you plan to travel a lot with your future pup? Count Keely in! You can see in her video how easily she hopped in the car, ready for her next adventure! She didn’t charge out of the car when it was time to exit, she waited patiently for us to guide her out. She was the ideal puppy passenger. She just relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Do you have kiddos in your life? Keely existed harmoniously with the chaos of children running and playing at the park. Her ears perked up as she was interested in what all the fun was about! Even though she wanted to join in on the play, she listened immediately when I told her no. Just like when we were shopping, she respected others boundaries! You can see in the video how Keely reacted to the new little friends she saw at the park! We are more than happy to test Keely with whatever aged humans that will be in your life! Keely also has amazing table manners. While we snacked on ice cream, she didn’t jump up at all to try to sneak a taste of my snack! She just looked at me with those sweet puppy eyes and eventually I couldn’t help but reward her with a pup cup! Did you see the sweet pup cup moment in her video?? Keely is one pup that you don’t want to miss out on. Her calm demeanor makes her a perfect pal. She could be considered cat-tolerant and we are confident she will respond well to learning from her people and the cat what the boundaries are. She is just so mindful! She will do well as a solo pup or joining a pack of pals. She truly is a gem. Side note, In her video, you’ll notice that she has a shiny tail tip in some clips! That’s nothing to be alarmed about! As a testament to how happy of a girl she is, her tail wagged so much that she got a boo boo. And the shiny stuff is just a temporary bandaid. She is just so happy to meet her friends! Overall, whoever adopts Keely is going to be the luckiest person in the world. She is ready to give all the love your heart desires. Some treasures are found once in a lifetime and Keely is one of those! Don’t miss out on this special girl! Reach out today to one of our adoption coordinators and get this sweetie pie in your life asap! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67f07a3b6b40a442b109839a Questions? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Story
Qbert is a total meathead, meatball, chubby bubby heartthrob, and a total sweet heart. His looks are unmatched and undeniable. He is probably the most handsome dog that has ever come into our program. I immediately fell in love as soon as I met him but I am also a sucker for meatheads. His looks speak for its self and his meathead and gorgeous eyes are just a few of the many reasons why we love him. He's got a big personality to match his aesthetic and his personality is out of this world! Watch his video and fall in love with this big boy: https://youtu.be/L9jzT_epjbU?si=JEdKxn3LDbu9MC9B Qbert is an American bulldog/staffie mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 68 lbs of pure love. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Qbert is very dog friendly and loves other dogs! He plays like a big boy to match his big boy personality. He has a playful "rough and tumble" play style with his doggy friends that matches that big personality he has. He might barrel into a game with a little too much enthusiasm, but his intentions are all about having a good time. He's the type of boy that will use his paws and his whole body when he is playing, bouncing and rolling around in those wrestling matches and is always up for a fun game of chase too. He is definitely a character when he is playing and there will be no shortages of laughter with this guy and his goofy playful antics. His best friend that he loves to play with is a playful and goofy female that can match his playful rowdy spirit and isn't phased by his big boy wrestling matches. If you have a dog whose play-style could be described as rough and rowdy, Qbert would love to be their new bestie. Qbert isn't all play all the time either, he knows when it's time to take a play break and also appreciates hanging out in the yard with his doggy friends enjoying the fresh air. If you don't have another dog, that's okay too! Qbert is not the type that needs another dog in the home to help him feel comfortable or open up, he is a happy and confident boy all on his own and will be just fine being your one and only. When it comes to training, Qbert loves treats and will do anything for a tasty snack! He already knows how to sit, is crate and potty trained, and walks well on a leash, even with his size. He will be a great dog to take with you on hikes, walks at the park, or even trips to the beach because he loves water! So bonus points if you have a pool or a pound in your backyard. If you don't have either of those, he will be just as happy with a little kiddie pool to romp around in. His ideal home would have a backyard where he can zoom around, play with his toys, and sunbathe during those nice summer days. He loves people and is a social butterfly, so if you're someone that likes to host, have friends over for backyard BBQ's, Qbert will be right there in the midst of all the entertainment. I'm sure he will be on of the main talking points in all your conversations as well. Qbert loves to play with toys and would love if his future home had a basket full of all his favorite toys to play with. He's not picky about the toys the likes, he likes them all. He is so funny when he is playing with a toy because he will shake the toy with all his might with drool and slobber flying in every direction LOL. So be prepared to be sprayed! You honestly can't help but laugh or even care about the slobber because Qbert is just so happy and living his best life. Qbert is a big lover boy and loves affection and loves to give you wet slobbery kisses and lean his whole body up against you for booty scratches. I can see him being the biggest snuggle buddy after a game of tug of war in the backyard or after going on an adventure to the park or the beach. He is the perfect balance of playfulness and snuggles. Qbert can do both and he's ready to find his forever family! We are willing to test Qbert with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match for you. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Hi, my name is Amidala and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since May 01, 2025. If I could have the perfect day, it would involve a casual stroll with you, overseeing meal prep in the kitchen, and then curling up at your feet. I’m the perfect little shadow! Story
His name is Meatball and he is the definition of gentle-giant, beefcake, meat head and an absolute, one-in-million, best boy! A ball-loving, dream-on-leash, dog-friendly, giant cuddle-bug beefcake with the most welcoming energy. I personally nominate him to be the bully-ambassador for anyone who thinks they are anything other than amazing. In one afternoon, I watched literally every type of person, young to old, sophisticated, blue-collar, delicate, you name it, become immediately obsessed with Meatball. Of course his size is eye catching but it’s something in his presence that and calm energy that feels like a warm invitation to come say hello. Now don’t let his size fool you, even though he is full-grown, this boy is a big puppy in the best possible way. Meatball already knows a few commands including sit, come, stay, with shake/paw coming right along, and he is ready to learn anything you want to teach him! A handful of treats and ready praise, you will have his undivided attention. The thing that floored me to learn about Meatball from his foster is that he is a vets office welcomer! Meatball gets to spend is days greeting patients and their owners in a busy vet office, which tells you he is beautifully socialized and a natural at offering a warm welcome. Meatball is estimated to be 1 year old and weighs a absolutely perfect 99lbs, and we believe he is an American bulldog mix but given he is a rescue we cannot guarantee age or breed. Don’t worry though, that 99 lbs does not keep him from loading into and out of the car all on his own. If you get the door he’ll do the rest because he loves a car ride! He goes from looking out the window to stretching out for a nap. I can only imagine how amazing it would feel to have him in tow for simple errands or weekend get-aways. He is my epitome of a perfect co-pilot! And you might think his size would be intimidating but it is the absolute opposite, so be prepared to become the person with the dog everyone ooo’s and ahhh’s over! Connection comes fast and easy with him, with makes falling in love almost impossible to avoid. Take a look for yourself then come back to read a little more (you won’t need to though, you’ll be head over heels by then.) Something about his simple presence feels like a warm hug and a cozy cardigan. Take a look then come back to read more. Meatball dreams of a home with a back yard for mid-day sunning sessions and a couple rounds of fetch, and he would love a doggie playmate to play with! His size and breed are best-suited for a dog that enjoys a bit of the signature bully breed playstyle, lovingly described as rough and rowdy. He has lived with smaller dogs and is mindful of his size but watching him play with a dog that matches his play style and size is pure entertainment and undeniable joy for him. He was great with every dog he met when we spent the afternoon with him, from high energy young ones to a female that rivals a sloth in her slow and steady way. Don’t worry though, he isn’t all go and play, this boy is short bursts of fun followed by long stretches of lay and lounge. No feline friends for him though, we can’t be sure he wouldn’t try to chase a cat out of curiosity or play, but it would be chaos either way. From what we have seen, his age comes with all the things a dog lover wants- a house and crate trained, nap-connoisseur. If he is already this happy, we can only imagine how he is going to flourish when he knows he is home and has a family of his very own. So if you are ready for an amazing, one-of-a-kind, adoring, gorgeous, easy-going, lovable, family man beef-cake, Meatball is an amazing boy who fits that criteria beautifully! If you have any questions about Meatball or the adoption process, please email elizabethbower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Ready to make the first move? Story
Nova is a playful 4 1/2 yr old mixed American bulldog, Lab, pit bull and Husky. She loves to go on hikes and chase after balls. She is potty trained. We have a doggie door and she goes outside when she needs to go potty. She's very loving with kids and adults and has A lot of energy. Nova knows basic commands like sit, down, roll over, off, wait and come. We make her sit before she comes in and out of the house if we go thru the door and before she eats until we tell her to eat. My husband has health issues so we are unable to give her what she needs activity wise. She is loved dearly and this was a big decision we had to make. We want Nova to be with an active family that will take her on walks, hiking and play with her. We do have another dog named Neo and would like for both of them to be together if possible. Neo is a pit bull Rottweiler mix and totally opposite of Nova. He's very loving and basically a lap dog. He just likes to sleep and lay next to you. He does run around a bit.
