Story
🐾 Meet Thoran, aka Thor! 🐾 This mature 4 year old boy is the perfect blend of confidence and happiness! I love the way he carries his head and tail high with a slight grin on his face. He cocks his head slightly with a curious look at you which so is dang cute. He has the most darling little prance and is low to the ground with his short stubby legs. He’s easy on the leash, so walks are a breeze—no pulling or tugging here! Thor would be easy to take to a city park or trail. He loves to sniff his spots and smell all the places along the trails. He is more a of a slow as you go kind of walker that moseys around. Thor gets along wonderfully with both people and prefers other dogs that are aloof and more mellow, making him an ideal companion for families or single adopters alike. We think Thor would be best for kids age 8 and up. He could live him a home, condo or apartment. Thor is NOT high energy or an excessive barker. Thor is also well-behaved in his kennel, and he thrives on attention, especially when it comes to his favorite pastime: butt scratches! Booty scratches put a BIG smile on his face. You’ll quickly find out that he’s a total goofball when it’s treat time; instead of sitting, he jumps with excitement and playfully runs off, only to return and take treats gently from your hand. If you’re looking for a confident, lovable sidekick who’s ready to fill your days with joy and laughter, Thor is your guy! Come meet him today and see how he can brighten your life! 🐶💙 Thor is fostered in Texas and available for virtual meet and greets. If you have any questions please email jessicak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org. We transport near or into NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. We can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $750 and includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, we inject or give 2-6 months of heartworm preventative, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Hey there, future fur-ever family! My name is Bailey, and I’m a happy 2-year-old American Bully with the cutest squinty-eyed smile. I’m a 49-pound squatty little girl, that's low to the ground and loves to lounge around on couches! I absolutely adore cuddle time! I won't lay right on you but right next to your side. My favorite spots are head and chin scratches. I'd be the perfect match! I thrive on human love and companionship, and I can’t wait to find a family ready to give me my own spot on the couch. Watch Bailey here: https://youtu.be/3Vq9x-O6pho?si=QEwDyPrJ4DNDAh90 My perfect home has at least one loving human, and I am not too picky about the rest. I could thrive in just about any animal lover’s home. I would love to have a quiet family and home too that way I maximize the love and affection. I’m looking for a home where my doggy friends understand boundaries. I am not very playful with other dogs and do not enjoy them jumping all over me. I've been told I am an excellent communicator on letting my crazy dog friends know this too. I’m so small dog friendly that I am living free roaming and running around with all the tiny pals here at the rescue. Although I am pretty calm and love lounging, I also really LOVE going on walks. When I see that leash come out I get super excited and do a few zoomie circles. I am easy to walk on a leash which makes walking me enjoyable. Are you ready to welcome a mellow girl like me into your life? Let’s make some amazing memories together! 🐶❤️ Bailey is such a sweet, calm, and loyal dog. With any questions, please reach out to the adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Bailey with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
Meet Boop! This beautiful, mild-mannered girl is about 2 years old and weighs 28 pounds. She looks like a bulldog/dachshund mix! She has more of a bulldog face, but she’s shorter and has a long body like a dachshund. She’s very friendly and gentle, and she’s great with people of all ages. She’s submissive and good with other dogs too.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.October 6, 2024, 5:17 am

Story
Bonjour, je m'appelle Remy! This chef-dog is looking for his cooking family to adopt him forever and ever! Je ne peux pas attendre! Life in the kitchen can be spicy sometimes! I was dumped by my previous owner when her other dog got upset with me. I felt quite sad that my family could just do something like that to me. I like the kitchen all to myself sometimes and I am dog-neutral, but working on it with my current foster mom! I'm typically pretty chill with other dogs unless they are reactive or excited. I would do best with animals my own size and temperament, no small dogs or cats please! I do however do well with small children. Currently, my foster mom is teaching me and helping me learn all kinds of things like new commands and tricks, how to relax, and chilling out in my kennel! I'm such a good boy!!! My bright smile will light up your world and I'll be your happiness magnet! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
