How Dexter arrived: Dexter was brought in by his previous owner on December 09, 2025. Why Dexter is the one for you:Dexter is a sweet, gentle boy with a heart full of love and a soft spot for his stuffed animals. He enjoys heading out for walks where he can take in the world at his own pace, then settling in with his favorite plush toy nearby. While loud noises can make him a bit nervous, a calm, reassuring environment helps him feel safe and secure. Dexter has a positive history with other dogs and can enjoy their company, especially when introductions are thoughtful and relaxed. He was diagnosed with epilepsy as a puppy and will need ongoing routine veterinary care and daily medication to help maintain the best possible quality of life. With consistency, compassion, and love, Dexter thrives and gives that same devotion right back. He's a truly special companion looking for someone who will cherish him just as he is. With a heart open to learning, he's been eagerly soaking up training, mastering the art of sitting, leash training, and socializing with ease at dog parks and walks. While his puppy instincts can sometimes get the better of him, he's learning to balance his excitement with serenity. And remarkably, despite his energetic nature, Coco remains calm and respectful around cats, giving them the space they need, and making him a wonderful addition to any family! Age: 12 Gender: Male Breed: Pomeranian Weight: 5.5 lbs Personality: Roger is a sweet and spunky pup who loves to be petted and enjoys sleeping next to his people on the sofa. He has no separation anxiety and can be left alone or with other dogs in a familiar and safe room for 4-5 hours. Favorite Activities: Chilling out on the sofa with his humans, spending time outside, getting the zoomies. Looking for: Roger is looking for a mellow home with adults only (due to his blindness) or with older kids. Special needs: Meds twice a day, not potty trained, deaf and blind. He has moderate cardiovascular disease that is currently well managed with medication twice daily (about $30-40 per month). He needs cardio recheck once a year when due for annual to ensure his heart is still doing well and he is on appropriate dose of meds. My adoption fee is $100 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip.
