Meet Finn the Fantastic!  A fluffy, fabulous 8-month-old, 35-pound mix of shepherd… and maybe husky… or possibly spitz? Honestly, his genetics are playing hard to get, but whatever he is—he’s STUNNING.   Just look at those eyes! One blue, one brown—pure heterochromic heart-melter energy.   Finn LOVES people and adores other dogs.  Dog-friendly kids 10+ are great No kitties — they’re way too fun to chase    Finn is moderately active and loves playing chase, swimming, and has the cutest little surprise explosions of zoomies throughout the day. He’d thrive with:  An active home with a fenced yard   Another playful dog buddy Walks, adventures, and a human home more than not who enjoys hanging out with their furry sidekick, cuddling and long walks   He’s smart, sweet, goofy, and oh-so-ready to be someone’s best friend. Could that someone be YOU?    To meet Finn in person visit us at www.dsda.org/adopt and submit our online adoption application.  ADOPTION FEE Covers: Core vaccines plus Lepto and Flu, all boosters, microchip, dewormer until clear fecal test & spay or neuter when completed by a DSDA vet partner plus any necessary medical care.  All dogs are on flea, tick and heartworm prevention and you receive the following month's preventatives complementary with your adoption!  * Adoption Fees: Puppies (12 months and under) - $325  Dogs (over 12 months) - $275  Qualifications for Adoption:  No dog is alike and each dog has different requirements based on breed, age, energy level and life experiences. DSDA is very careful to place our dogs in homes that we believe are the best fit for the dog based on our experience with each dog. All of our dogs live in foster homes which allows us the opportunity to learn about their individual needs.  Must be home more than not. Vet checks are required! All resident pets in the applicant's home MUST be spayed or neutered, core vaccines up to date and dogs on heartworm prevention to be considered! No exceptions.  Must be 21 years or older with identification showing present address. Must have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household. Must receive proof of pet deposit and lease allowing pets if renting. Willingness and capacity to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and responsible care for a pet. Must have a secure fence if in a house. All poisonous plants must be removed from the yard.  DSDA is located in Dallas and requires a home visit on every adoption so only adopt to Dallas and surrounding areas. ##2574711##

Meet Nash!Nash is a sweet 1 year-old male Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix that came to Saving Hope after his family left him behind when they moved away. But don`t worry—this resilient boy is quickly adjusting to the routine at his foster home and is ready to put his past behind him and find a family who will love him forever! Nash loves nothing more that to cuddle with people; he is definitely a lap dog. Not only does he get along great with people of all ages, he also loves hanging out with other dogs and cats. He also loves playing with toys and thinks that basically anything can be a toy, socks, laundry, kid`s toys or even the cat`s toys. So if it`s on the floor Nash thinks it is his. Nash is crate trained and is working on mastering walking on a leash. His is still working on being potty trained. He prefers to have someone with him when he goes outside to potty. His foster takes him out frequently. He is learning that when the other dogs in his foster home ring the bell that it is time to go outside. He has had a few accidents inside so he does wear a belly band while inside. With patience, training and time he should become completely house broken. Nash is a happy chipper little guy who always looks like he is smiling. He would make a wonderful little companion and would be appropriate as an apartment dog. He would also do fine as the only pup in the home or as an addition to home with other pets.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
