Woop-woop, that’s the sound of da police! Don’t worry, there’s no need to put your hands in the air, we promise these four won’t arrest you. Meet Sergeant, Lieutenant, Chief and Detective, four large canines that were recently rescued after they were left behind at a boarding facility. These sweet dogs were housed and cared for until it was time to make the journey over to SNIPSA. But despite their rough start, it's clear that none of them have lost their spirit! This pup patrol arrived at our facility with wagging tails, good temperaments and ALL the love in the world to give. Though they may present themselves with some tough exteriors, they truly are the biggest of babies. Due to their size and overall temperament, these four would each benefit from active lifestyles to ensure they are receiving adequate exercise. Sergeant is the most goofy floof around as he stomps about without much direction! It appears he has some prior trauma that left him with a little bit of a gimpy rear leg, but he gets around on it decently well. In spite of his leg, Sergeant is incredibly upbeat, always sporting a big grin! At four years old, he has a little life experience and plenty of years left to give his new family. This is a beautiful boy who is just the best little thing.  He only weighs 16 pounds and the vet has guestimated his age to be 2 years old.  RIO was dumped at an elementary school of which my girlfriend is a teacher.  She called me that people had just dumped him. RIO came into my home with the best manners, quiet and obedient.  He sticks really close to me but does not get in the way.  2 of the male foster dogs bark at him but he does not react, he retreats and ignores them.  RIO does not have a bad bone in his body, no aggression anywhere.  He is housetrained and pottytrained.  He hates going into the crate which I use sparingly.  I put him in the crate yesterday to take him to be neutered and he had a fit.  He really is trustworthy around the house when I am gone. RIO likes to cuddle with me while I am watching TV on the couch.  He walks very well on the leash without pulling and rides in the car without getting sick.  If you are interested in adopted RIO please submit an application on the website below. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Sadie is 6 years old and 13 pounds, she was surrendered by her owners because the owner travels with her job and could not take care of them.  Sadie was found on the streets with her companion Ginger who is also available for adoption.  Their original owner had rehomed them to someone who let them on the streets along with an 11 year old male chihuahua who is also available for adoption. Both have been spayed, heartworm tested negative, vaccinated and rabies and in good health.  They get along with other dogs and love to be loved on. I am posting pictures of them before and after they visited the groomer.
