When I tell you she is smart, I mean smart as a whip. She is attentive, food motivated, eager to please, and will be a star pupil in any training class. She loves everybody — people and dogs of all shapes and sizes — and she has absolutely no fear aggression. Honestly, she could almost apply for a job as a Walmart greeter. I found Yuka at the Weslaco, Texas shelter in deep South Texas. She had no collar, no tag, no microchip, was not spayed, was loaded with fleas, and no one came looking for her. We are so happy she is here with us now. Yuka would make an excellent addition to just about any family setting I can think of, as long as her family is able to give her the exercise, structure, and attention she deserves. Skye is a 1-year-old, 25-pound mystery mix, and while we may not know exactly which breeds went into making this girl, we're pretty sure they got the recipe just right! Her breed is anyone's guess, but one thing is certain: Skye is pretty darn close to perfect. This sweet girl is the definition of easygoing. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is quiet and submissive, and would rather keep the peace than get involved in any drama. Basically, she's the Switzerland of the dog world. No arguments, no unnecessary barking, no need to be the main character. She's just happy to go with the flow and enjoy life. Want a dog who can share the spotlight with other pups? Skye's your girl!
