Story
Courtesy Post — Tino Needs YOU! FIVE MONTHS and counting — that’s how long sweet Tino has been waiting for a foster or forever home after being heartbreakingly surrendered by his family (through no fault of his own — it was a cat issue!). Tino is a 2-year-old, 65-pound lovebug currently stuck in boarding at Lucky Stars Kennels in Carroll County, Maryland — and he is SO ready to break free and join a loving home. This handsome boy was a daycare favorite at Lucky Stars, known for his affectionate nature and A+ snuggle skills. He thrives on human connection — belly rubs, playtime, and simply hanging out with his people. Unfortunately, after one bad experience with a small dog, he can’t do group play anymore. Tino would LOVE to be your one-and-only or could do well with a calm female dog buddy. Tino is: Neutered  Great with older kids  Crate-trained  Active, fun-loving, and full of life  Always ready for a good frog pose stretch (and belly rubs!) This sweet pit mix has waited long enough. After everything he’s been through, Tino deserves more than a kennel run — he deserves a real home, a best friend, and a new chapter. He’ll thrive in a home with structure, exercise, and plenty of affection — think walks, hikes, a fenced yard, or weekend adventures. His heart is wide open — all he needs now is YOU. Ready to foster or adopt? Help us get Tino out of boarding — he’s been waiting five long months! Currently in Carroll County, Maryland   ***Disclaimer*** Unfortunately, there are not enough rooms at the inn to admit every dog that needs a furever home. But, we still want to help those dogs (and cats) on their journey! By courtesy posting, AAHA is offering our website/network as an additional resource to help an owner or shelter gain additional exposure for the dog they are trying to place. AAHA has not met nor evaluated the dog (or cat) we are courtesy posting. AAHA makes no representation about courtesy posted pets including the health and temperament and accepts no liability in this exchange. Arrangements for adoptions are made between the caretaker of the pet and the potential adopter. July 25, 2025, 8:18 pm

Now, don't tell me you don't remember Fred and Ginger, his ginger haired dance partner ;) If you are a millennial you may not but the REST of us do!! SO, where was I?? Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers are such awesome namesakes for us... we are ATTACHED at the hip to each other and we operate in dance like moves when we are together.... so YES we are a BONDED pair of cuties!! We are lanky chis, most likely Min Pin/Chi mixes with the long and elegant legs and sweet, playful personalities. Ginger is more reserved and shy than her boyfriend Fred. So you have definitely learned some about us... we are young and teeny weeny :) yes that is a word!! We are learning all the home stuff, like leash training, crate and house training and we have excelled at all!! So if you are looking for a lap pup and one that will be one someday.. we are YOUR PUPS!!! Adopt us together and get double the love for LIFE!!! Local adoption, together $400 (in TX) Out of state adoption, together $800
