Story
Roux may be small, but don`t let her size fool you — she’s packed full of personality! This 3-month-old black and tan beauty is the perfect blend of `zoomies champion` and `professional napper.` One minute she’s sprinting around like she’s training for the Puppy Olympics, and the next she’s snuggled into a lap, out cold and dreaming about treats. She`s already a crate-sleeping superstar, a leash-walking pro, and well on her way to becoming fully housetrained. Roux is very smart — we’re pretty sure she’s secretly studying for her PhD in `Good Girl Studies.`Roux loves other dogs and shows a healthy respect for cats who prefer personal space. She’s friendly and sweet with kids, but because sudden movements can make her a little nervous, she`d do best in a home with older children who can be gentle and calm around her.She can be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring new places — think `cautious detective` more than `nervous wreck.` She just likes to take a moment to read the room (and maybe sniff it a little) before diving in. Once she knows you`re a friend (or you come bearing treats), she’s all in for cuddles, tail wags, and goofy puppy antics. If you`re looking for a playful, loving, and slightly goofy best friend, Roux is ready to steal your heart — and maybe your socks. If you’d like to take Roux home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $400 and and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. They’ve been checked by a veterinarian and are up to date on necessary vaccinations, including Rabies and DHLPP. They have also been tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases and have started heartworm and flea preventative medication. Some of our dogs have even undergone extensive medical care to ensure they’re ready for a happy, healthy life with you!

Story
Bruce Wayne because of the bat ears, and short tail? Who knows? BW does not answer to any name currently, so feel free to name him what you like. This tiny guy was pulled from a shelter where he was not doing well. The loud shelter was no place for a little guy with a big personality!! It didn’t take long to make friends with this feisty little guy… yes, at first he gave me warning barks… ‘don’t get too close!” But the chicken nuggets eventually won him over. He realized that all good things come from me. Treats, walks, food, kand warm cuddles. I have other small dogs, but he doesn’t seem to seek out their attention. He prefers to be a lap dog. I also have cats, they are all bigger than he is… he pays them no attention. He is frightened by new people. So ideally a home with one person to shower all their love an affection would be great for this little boy. BW does get playful for short spurts.. it’s very cute. I fully believe once he is settled, this cutie’s full personality will emerge. Initially, it will take a few days for him to open up, so patience is necessary. I can provide advice and moral support. BW will bark at dogs and people on a leash, he doesn’t need long walks, but exercise in a quiet area is necessary. BW is tested, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Vet suggests dental in a year or so. Maybe some water additive or greenies would help too. Email me at marysmutts05@gmail.com to request an adoption application, if you are interested in adopting this mighty little boy. No children for this tiny guy.

Ready for a new friend? Meet Honey! Honey is a sweet dog, just like her name she is oozing with affection and love. She is a very medium/small sized beagle/chi mix, she is housebroken and likes to let people know when she needs to go out by pawing at your legs. Loves to cuddle with you, she can be a velcro dog sometimes and will make your couch her permanent home!. Honey doesn't like to share her affection with others and is adoptable into a single dog/animal home. She does tolerate the foster mom's kitties but honestly she would really love to be the center of someone's life. She has MORE than enough love and devotion to fill your heart every day. She is crate trained. She loves to sleep in the bed too! If you are looking for the yin to your yang, the bread to your jam or the pup to your life... HONEY is the ONE!!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Baby Bat embodies the personality, uniqueness and likeness of the Batman. First, he works alone. No sidekicks or partners. He prefers solitude and his space. Baby Bat has lived with his foster and her dog pack for 5 years, he gets along with them but tolerates them at most. He would do well in a home where he is the only dog, no children, and adults only. Next, Baby Bat is an apex predator. Which means he needs his sleep and food and not to be interrupted or coddled when given either. Baby Bat is not a lap or cuddly dog. Finally, did we mention Baby Bat is a Chihuahua mix? That's a really important detail! Baby Bat is a great and loyal dog seeking a great family to adopt him! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Don’t let the size fool you—Lucy might only be 5 lbs, but she’s got the spirit of a Border Collie who just drank a Red Bull and read The Art of Herding. This 11-week-old mystery pup is (probably?) a Pomeranian mix, but we’re honestly just guessing. Her family tree is more of a tangled shrub with a whole lot of adorable in it.Lucy came from a home with 26 dogs and was rescued from some seriously ick conditions, but she’s thriving in foster care and ready to run your household like a tiny, fluffy supervisor. She’s the kind of pup who sees a group of people standing around and immediately starts organizing them into a tidy circle.Compared to her goofball sister Skye, Lucy is the brains of the operation—clever, observant, and always one paw ahead. She’s been exposed to other puppies, adult dogs, cats, and kids As a small, mischievous puppy, Lucy will need either a securely fenced yard or to be supervised closely while outside—she’s got places to go, sticks to chase, and zero understanding of “boundaries” (physical or otherwise). She’s still working on crate and house training, and she’ll need regular grooming to keep her looking fabulous. She’s full of energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of sass.If you’re looking for a tiny boss to lovingly micromanage your life, Lucy is accepting applications. Bonus points if you’ve got snacks and a strong work ethic. If you’d like to take Lucy home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $400 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped. Story
Skye is 11 weeks old and already a pro at being cute, mildly chaotic, and mysteriously mutty. We think her mom was an Australian Shepherd/Husky mix (25 lbs) and her dad a Pomeranian/Aussie mix (20 lbs)... but honestly, it’s like someone tossed a bunch of breeds in a blender and hit `cute.` We suspect her previous owners were trying to breed “mini Aussies,” but what they got was “major cuteness.”Skye came from a hoarding situation with 26 dogs and was seized due to less-than-chic living conditions (read: yikes). But don’t worry—she’s left that mess behind and is now living her best puppy life: running in chaotic zoomie circles, chewing on everything that legally can be chewed, and absolutely charming everyone she meets.Currently around 10 lbs, Skye is your typical puppy: wild, curious, cuddly when tired, and in need of a human who’s ready for some serious crate and potty training adventures. She’ll also need regular grooming to keep that fabulous fluff in check. She`s been mingling with puppies, adult dogs, cats, and kids, and has a pretty chill vibe—especially compared to her sister (also with AARF), who is definitely the overachieving hall monitor of the litter.Since she`s still a baby with a love for adventure and zero sense of self-preservation, Skye will need a securely fenced yard or close supervision when outside—she’s small, fast, and occasionally powered by chaos.Skye is the goofball, the sidekick, the nap-on-your-feet type. If you`re looking for a pup who`s equal parts silly and sweet (and don’t mind a little chaos with your cuddles), she might just be your girl.If you’d like to take Skye home, please fill out an adoption application at this link – https://animalalliesrescue.org/dog-application. The adoption fee is $400 and covers all expenses needed to prepare dogs like this one for their forever homes. By the time you meet them, they’ve already been spayed/neutered (if age-appropriate) and microchipped.
